Dogs can need an extra layer for everyday activity when the weather turns cool, whether heading out for a walk or spending time at home. This hoodie combines the familiar coverage of a dog sweatshirt with a fleece lining and stretch fabric for walks, runs and play. Its pull-on shape keeps dressing simple, while a discreet opening makes it possible to connect a leash to a harness underneath. It is intended for cool, dry conditions, with clear layering guidance for wet weather and deep freezes.

Is the Spark Paws Dog Hoodie warm enough for cold walks?

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie has a soft fleece lining inside its stretch shell, making it an everyday warm layer for cool and cold walks. The fabric gives as your dog moves, so the hoodie can be worn for activity rather than reserved for photos. It also works as a dog sweater and sweatshirt in one, with a hood and a smooth feel against the coat.

• For all-day wear at home or outdoors during the cold season.
• For deep freezes, wear it underneath a lined winter coat or jacket.

How do I choose a size for my dog?

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie comes in eight sizes, from Small through 5XL, and its cut leaves room through the chest for broad-chested dogs. The fit has been tested on a wide range of dogs, including French Bulldogs, Pitbulls, English Bulldogs and Labradors. It is made for girl or boy dogs and is designed to allow movement during everyday wear.

• Measure your dog’s chest girth and compare it with the size chart in the images.
• If your dog falls between sizes, size up; most buyers choose Large or larger.
• The size range includes options for puppies, medium dogs and large or XL dogs.

How does the hoodie work with a harness, and how should I care for it?

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie has a discreet leash opening, so you can attach a leash to the harness underneath without taking the garment off. Its hooded, pull-on design has no fiddly closures and slips over your dog’s head. The hoodie is for dry days rather than rain: put a dog raincoat over it in wet weather.

• Machine wash cold and line dry.
• The stretch fabric is made for walks, runs and play as well as relaxed wear at home.

This hoodie suits dog owners looking for a fleece-lined layer for everyday wear in cool, dry weather, particularly those choosing clothing for a broad-chested dog or using a harness underneath. It is not waterproof, and for deep freezes it is designed to be worn beneath a lined winter coat. Its fleece lining, stretch blend and built-in leash opening make it a practical option for everyday cool-weather outings.
