How do I choose the right Spark Paws Dog Hoodie size?

Spark Paws Dog Hoodie sizing runs from Small through 5XL, with options for puppies, medium dogs and large dogs. Measure your dog's chest girth, compare it with the size chart in the images, and choose the larger size if your dog is between sizes. Most buyers choose Large or above, so chest measurement is especially useful when selecting a size for a larger dog.

The cut allows room through the chest for broad-chested dogs, including French Bulldogs, Pitbulls, English Bulldogs and Labradors. The fit has been tested on a wide range of dogs, with room for movement and sizing suitable for female and male dogs.

• Use chest girth as your key measurement when choosing a size.
• Size up when your dog's measurement falls between two sizes.
• Eight size options cover a range from Small to 5XL.

How does the hoodie work with a leash and harness?

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie has a discreet leash opening so you can attach a leash to the harness worn underneath without taking off the hoodie. Its hooded, pull-on construction slips over your dog's head and has no fiddly closures to fasten.

That simple design makes it practical for regular outings as well as relaxed indoor wear. The four-way stretch fabric gives with your dog's movement, whether they are walking, running or playing, while the hoodie works as both a dog sweatshirt and a dog sweater.

• Leave the harness underneath the hoodie for walks.
• Pull the hoodie on over your dog's head; there are no closures.
• Wear it at home or outdoors on cool days.

Is the Spark Paws Dog Hoodie suitable for rain or freezing weather?

The Spark Paws Dog Hoodie is made for cool, dry days and is not waterproof. For a wet-day walk, put a dog raincoat over it. In deep freezes, wear it underneath a lined winter coat or jacket for an added layer.
