Spark Paws Dog Puffer Jacket, Small–4XL Insulated Water-Resistant Winter Coat

Spark Paws Dog Puffer Jacket is an insulated winter coat for cold-weather dog walks, with high-loft cotton filling and a water-resistant polyester shell.

• Seven sizes, from Small through 4XL — choose a size using your dog’s chest girth.
• Slip-on design with waist Velcro closures — get the coat on without threading your dog’s legs through sleeves.
• Reinforced zipper opening on the back — reach a harness or collar underneath to attach the leash.
• Damp-cloth cleaning — wipe mud and road salt from the shell after a walk.

For dogs that need more than a light layer on a winter walk, this puffer-style coat combines an insulated body with an outer shell made to shed snow and light rain. Its intended use is real cold weather rather than simply taking the edge off an autumn evening. The shell is water-resistant, not waterproof, so it is not designed for heavy, sustained rain.

Is the Spark Paws Dog Puffer Jacket suited to snow and rain?

It is made for cold-weather walks in snow or light rain, but not for downpours. The padded construction uses high-loft cotton filling beneath a polyester shell, giving the coat its insulated puffer design. A durable outer shell and reinforced opening are intended to help the garment hold its shape through winter use.

• Good to know: the coat is water-resistant, not waterproof.
• Its use is aimed at winter conditions, rather than mild autumn weather.

How do I choose a size for my dog?

Measure your dog’s chest girth and compare it with the size chart shown in the product images. The range runs from Small through 4XL, covering seven sizes; size up if your dog measures between sizes. The high-neck collar sits close without crowding the throat, while the waist adjusts to help accommodate broad-chested dogs and dogs with thick double coats.

• Use chest girth as the measurement to compare with the chart.
• For a measurement between sizes, choose the larger size.

How does the coat go on, and can I attach a leash over it?

The slip-on cut and waist Velcro closures make it quick to put on without pushing your dog’s legs through sleeves. A reinforced zipper opening in the back panel provides access to a harness or collar underneath, so you can clip on the leash without removing the coat. The high-neck shape and adjustable waist provide coverage while allowing room around the throat and body.

• The back opening is reinforced rather than simply cut into the fabric.
• The waist closures adjust around the dog’s body.

How should I clean the Spark Paws Dog Puffer Jacket?

Wipe the shell with a damp cloth to remove mud and road salt after a walk. This gives you a practical way to clean surface dirt without running a wash cycle after every outing. The coat’s insulated body and water-resistant outer shell are made for repeated winter wear, and the construction is designed to hold its shape through the season.

• Use a damp cloth for routine removal of mud and road salt.
• The coat is designed for winter use, rather than as a lightweight autumn layer.

The Spark Paws Dog Puffer Jacket is best suited to dogs needing an insulated layer for cold-weather walks, including broad-chested or double-coated dogs that benefit from an adjustable waist. Its slip-on cut, back access for a leash connection, and water-resistant shell make it a practical choice for winter outings in snow or light rain, rather than heavy downpours. For a correct fit, compare your dog’s chest girth with the size chart and size up between sizes. It pairs high-loft cotton insulation with a water-resistant polyester shell in a coat designed for winter walks.
