After surgery, some dogs need a body-covering option instead of a traditional cone or e-collar. This suit is designed for male and female dogs recovering from spay or neuter procedures, with a dressing method and bathroom access built into its design. Large Short is one fit in the Surgi~Snuggly range of 14 sizes and 7 colors.

How does the Surgi~Snuggly suit support post-surgery care?

The Surgi~Snuggly recovery suit covers the dog’s body and is intended for use after spay and neuter surgery. It offers a wearable alternative to the usual cone or e-collar, while its soft, stretchable textile is made to let dogs move comfortably. The suit is veterinary-approved and was invented by veterinarian Dr. Paul O. Williams.

• Designed for both male and female dogs.
• Created for post-surgical recovery, including spay and neuter procedures.
• Its textile is custom-milled, breathable, and stretchable.

How do you put it on, and can a dog use the bathroom?

Open the back of the Surgi~Snuggly suit to put it on; the design does not require snaps, zippers, or cutting holes. It is made to accommodate pee and poo breaks, so the suit can stay part of the dog’s recovery routine during bathroom trips.

• Open-back dressing design.
• No snaps or zippers to manage.
• No need to cut openings for bathroom access.

How do I choose the Large Short size?

Large Short fits a dog with a spine measurement from 16 to 20 inches (40.6 to 50.8 cm). Surgi~Snuggly’s WaGS sizing system also considers girth and weight, so compare all three measurements when choosing a fit. The complete range has 14 sizes and 7 colors; this product is the Large Short option.

• Measure the dog’s spine for the stated LS range.
• Use spine, girth, and weight as WaGS fit factors.
• The LS fit is intended for the listed spine range, not every body size.

Who designed Surgi~Snuggly?

Surgi~Snuggly was created by veterinarian Dr. Paul O. Williams and his wife, drawing on more than 40 years of veterinary experience. The American business was founded in 2008, and the brand brings more than 13 years of experience in veterinary and pet health environments. Its sourcing follows American standards; this does not mean the suit is stated to be made in the United States.

• Veterinarian-invented recovery suit.
• Veterinary-approved product.
• Designed with veterinary experience behind its development.

The Surgi~Snuggly Large Short is suited to dog owners seeking a body-covering recovery option after spay or neuter surgery, especially when open-back dressing and bathroom access matter. It is intended for dogs whose spine measurement falls within the LS range, with girth and weight also considered by the WaGS sizing system.
