After spay or neuter surgery, dogs need a way to move through recovery while keeping the suit in place for everyday bathroom breaks. The Surgi~Snuggly is made for this post-surgical use, with a design intended to avoid the discomfort of a traditional cone and the need to cut openings in the garment.

How does the Surgi~Snuggly work for post-surgery care?

The suit opens at the back for putting it on, and its design accommodates peeing and pooping. There are no snaps or zippers to fasten, and you do not need to cut holes for bathroom access. It is made for both male and female dogs recovering from spay or neuter surgery.

• Back-opening design makes the suit straightforward to put on.
• Bathroom-friendly construction supports routine pee and poo breaks.
• Designed as an alternative to an e-collar or cone.

How do I choose the Medium Short size?

Medium Short fits a spine length of 12–15 inches (30.5–38.1 cm). Surgi~Snuggly’s WaGS sizing system also takes girth and weight into account, so compare your dog’s measurements when selecting a size. The brand offers 14 sizes and 7 colors across its range; this listing is for Medium Short.

• Measure spine length for the stated Medium Short fit range.
• Consider girth and weight as part of the WaGS sizing approach.

What is the suit made from, and who designed it?

The recovery suit uses a soft, breathable, stretchable custom-milled textile intended to support comfortable movement during recovery. The fabric is designed to stay clean and odor-free. Veterinarian Dr. Paul O. Williams invented the suit, with more than 40 years of veterinary experience informing its design.

• Veterinary-approved design.
• Surgi~Snuggly is an American business created in 2008.
• The brand cites American sourcing standards and more than 13 years in veterinary and pet-health environments.

The Medium Short Surgi~Snuggly is suited to male or female dogs whose spine measurement falls within its stated range and who need a wearable option for spay or neuter recovery.
