After surgery, dogs need a recovery garment that accommodates ordinary movement and bathroom breaks. Surgi~Snuggly is made for male and female dogs following spay or neuter procedures, offering a suit-style option instead of an e-collar. Its opening and bathroom-friendly design make it suited to routine at-home care while a dog wears a recovery garment.

How do I choose the right 2XL size?

The 2XL size is for dogs with a spine length from 31 to 35 inches (79 to 89 cm). Surgi~Snuggly’s WaGS sizing system considers spine length alongside a dog’s girth and weight, so compare all three when assessing the fit.

• Measure spine length for the 2XL range.
• The full size range includes 14 sizes and seven colors.

How does the suit work for post-surgery care?

Open the suit at the back to put it on; the design does not use snaps or zippers. It is made for male and female dogs and allows bathroom breaks without cutting holes in the garment. The suit is intended as a wearable alternative to a traditional cone for spay and neuter recovery.

• Suitable for both male and female dogs.
• Designed to accommodate peeing and pooping while worn.

What is the fabric and who developed the design?

The suit uses soft, stretchable, breathable custom-milled textile. The fabric is intended to let dogs move comfortably; the design also aims to help calm pups and support quicker recovery. Surgi~Snuggly was created by veterinarian Dr. Paul O. Williams and his wife, drawing on more than 40 years of veterinary experience.

• Veterinary-approved design.
• American business founded in 2008, with American standards for pet safety and sourcing.
• The company has more than 13 years of experience in veterinary and pet-health settings.
