Surgi~Snuggly Dog Surgery Recovery Suit, Medium Cone Alternative with Breathable Stretch Fabric

Surgi~Snuggly Dog Surgery Recovery Suit is a veterinarian-designed, breathable stretch-fabric body suit that covers healing incisions and serves as a cone alternative after surgery.

• Full-body coverage in breathable stretch fabric — helps protect wounds while allowing natural movement.
• Cone alternative for recovery — helps reduce licking, biting, scratching and irritation.
• Medium fits a 14–17 inch (36–43 cm) spine and 17–23 inch (43–58 cm) chest girth — use the measurements to choose a suitable fit.
• Adjustable back panel — provides potty access while keeping the surgical area covered.
• Created by veterinarian Dr. Paul O. Williams with 40 years of experience — brings veterinarian-designed recovery wear to post-surgery care.

After surgery, dogs need protection for healing areas without being prevented from resting or moving naturally. Surgi~Snuggly is made for post-operative recovery, including spay and neuter care, and offers a body-covering option for dogs that need an alternative to a cone or collar.

How does the Surgi~Snuggly suit protect a dog after surgery?

The suit covers the body to help protect wounds and incisions while helping limit access for licking, biting and scratching. Its breathable, flexible construction is designed for extended wear, so dogs can rest, sleep and move during recovery. It can be used as a spay suit or a neuter recovery suit for male dogs.

• The suit is the original dog surgery suit, invented by veterinarian Dr. Paul O. Williams.
• It is veterinarian-approved and made for recovery after surgery.

How do I choose the right size of Surgi~Snuggly?

For Medium, choose a dog with a 14–17 inch (36–43 cm) spine length, measured from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, and a 17–23 inch (43–58 cm) chest girth, measured behind the front legs. The approximate weight range is 20–35 lb (9–16 kg). Measure the spine first, then use chest girth to confirm and weight to narrow the fit.

• Spine length is the primary sizing measurement.
• If your dog is between sizes, go up in size.

Can my dog use the bathroom while wearing the suit?

Yes. The adjustable back panel opens for bathroom breaks and closes again to maintain coverage over the surgical area. It allows routine potty access without requiring zippers, snaps or modifications. The custom-milled stretch fabric gently conforms to the dog’s body without restricting movement.

• The back panel is designed to open and close for daily bathroom access.
• The suit combines a soft feel with breathable, flexible fabric for extended wear.

Surgi~Snuggly suits dogs needing body coverage during surgical recovery, particularly after spay or neuter procedures, while allowing movement and bathroom breaks. Medium is intended for dogs within its spine, chest-girth and approximate weight ranges; measuring the spine first helps guide the fit. Its veterinarian-designed, breathable stretch-fabric construction and adjustable back panel make it a recovery suit with practical access for everyday care.
