Surgi~Snuggly Dog Surgery Recovery Suit, XS Spay/Neuter, Breathable Stretch Fit

Surgi~Snuggly is a veterinarian-designed dog surgery recovery suit that covers healing areas as a cone alternative, with breathable stretch fabric and an adjustable back panel for bathroom access.

• Full-body coverage — helps cover wounds and incisions while allowing natural movement.
• Breathable, custom-milled stretch fabric — made for flexible wear during recovery.
• Adjustable back panel — provides access for bathroom breaks while maintaining coverage.
• No zippers, snaps, or modifications required — the panel opens and closes for daily care.
• Designed for spay and neuter recovery — serves as a protective suit for male dogs as well as other dogs recovering after surgery.

After surgery, dogs may need protection that does not rely on a bulky cone or collar. This recovery suit is designed to cover surgical sites while helping reduce licking, biting, and scratching, and to support everyday movement, rest, and sleep during recovery.

How do I choose the right size for my dog?

Extra Small fits dogs with a 10–11.5 inch (25.4–29.2 cm) spine length, a 12–13.5 inch (30.5–34.3 cm) chest girth, and an approximate weight of 3–5 lbs (1.4–2.3 kg). Measure spine length first, from the base of the neck to the base of the tail; it determines the size. Measure chest girth behind the front legs to confirm the fit, then use weight as an additional guide.

• Compare your dog’s measurements with all three size ranges.
• If you are unsure between sizes, choose the larger size.

How does the suit protect a dog during recovery?

Surgi~Snuggly provides a fabric covering over the body to help protect wounds and incisions and reduce access for licking, biting, and scratching. Veterinarian Dr. Paul O. Williams invented the original dog surgery suit, drawing on 40 years of experience. The suit is veterinary-approved and designed to conform to the dog without restricting movement.

• Made for post-surgery recovery, including spay and neuter recovery.
• Designed for extended wear so dogs can rest, sleep, and move in the suit.

How does bathroom access work?

The adjustable back panel opens for bathroom breaks and closes to maintain coverage over healing areas. This lets you manage daily potty breaks without removing the suit or leaving the surgical site uncovered.

• The panel is built into the suit for access during routine care.
• Opening and closing the panel does not require extra fasteners or alterations.

This Extra Small suit is suited to dogs whose spine length, chest girth, and weight fall within its stated ranges, particularly those recovering from surgery or spay and neuter procedures. It is designed for covered recovery rather than use as a loose garment: its adjustable back panel, stretch fabric, and body coverage support access for care while helping protect healing sites.
