TailyWags 7.9 m Retractable Dog Leash for Large Dogs, Grey with Smooth-Retracting Tape

TailyWags is a gray retractable dog leash for large dogs up to 110 lbs (50 kg), with a 26 ft (8 m) reach for exploring outdoors while you manage the line.

• Reinforced ABS shell and extra-wide nylon tape — made for the pulling demands of large dogs.
• Industrial-grade coil spring — designed for smooth, jam-free retraction through thousands of extensions.
• 360° U-shaped tape guide and free-spinning swivel clip — help feed the tape back without tangles.
• Oversized brake button and anti-slip handle — put braking, locking and release within one-thumb reach.
• Detachable dispenser with 15 starter bags — keeps cleanup bags close and fits standard refill rolls.

Large dogs often want room to sniff, circle and move ahead, while their people need to manage the leash when surroundings change. TailyWags is made for outdoor walks and outings where extra reach is useful, including open fields, beaches, campgrounds and trail hikes. Its tape guide, swivel connection and thumb-operated controls are designed to make extending, stopping and gathering the line straightforward as your dog explores.

Where is the 26 ft leash useful?

The extended tape gives a large dog more room to explore in open outdoor spaces while the handler keeps hold of the leash handle. It is intended for dogs such as Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Huskies and Labs, with the maximum dog weight shown above. The length is especially suited to places where there is room to roam, sniff and move around, rather than walks that call for keeping a dog close at all times.

• Made for exploring open fields, beaches, campgrounds and hiking trails.
• Allows a dog to move around while the handler holds the control handle.
• Suitable for large-breed walks within the stated weight limit.

How do the leash and brake controls work?

The tape extends and retracts through a 360° U-shaped guide, which is designed to take up twists from changing directions and feed the line back cleanly. A firm press on the oversized brake button stops the leash, and clicking the control locks the tape at its current length; pressing again releases it to extend. The widened ergonomic handle has an anti-slip surface for holding during walks and sudden pulls.

The leash uses a reinforced ABS shell to absorb impacts from drops and kicks. Its extra-wide nylon tape is made to resist fraying under heavy loads, while an industrial-grade coil spring supports smooth retraction. The design is intended to remain jam-free even after thousands of extensions. A corrosion-proof zinc-alloy swivel hook attaches to a collar or harness and turns freely as your dog changes direction.

• Press the brake to stop the tape, click to lock its length, and press to release.
• The swivel hook connects to a collar or harness.
• The tape guide and rotating clip accommodate movement from different angles.

What comes with the leash?

The leash includes a detachable poop bag dispenser and 15 starter bags. The dispenser fits into the base of the handle and can be removed when it is not needed. Its refill compatibility covers standard bag rolls, so the included bags are ready for initial outings and the dispenser can be refilled with standard rolls.

• One detachable bag dispenser that stores at the handle base.
• 15 starter bags for dog-waste cleanup.
• Compatible with standard refill rolls.

TailyWags is suited to owners of large dogs who want extra roaming distance for outdoor adventures, together with a hand-operated brake and a bag dispenser on the leash. It is designed for open-space exploring and gives handlers direct control of the tape through its brake, lock and release functions.
