The TailyWags 16ft Retractable Dog Leash gives medium dogs room to explore on walks, jogs, and hikes, with a 16ft (5m) nylon tape and suitability for dogs up to 66 lbs (30 kg).

• 16ft retractable tape for dogs up to 66 lbs — gives a medium-sized companion room to explore while you stay in control.
• 360° tangle-free design — helps the tape move smoothly as your dog changes direction.
• Thumb-operated brake, pause, and lock — lets you adjust leash length with one hand.
• Impact-resistant ABS shell — protects the internal mechanism from everyday bumps and accidental drops.
• Built-in waste bag dispenser with a 15-bag starter roll — keeps bags close at hand during walks.
• White leash with high-strength nylon tape — combines the specified color with a tape leash design.

For walks, jogs, and hikes, a retractable leash can give a dog space to explore while keeping the handler able to manage the line. TailyWags brings that adjustable range together with one-handed controls and an integrated place for waste bags, making it suited to everyday outings as well as moments when you need to pause or shorten the leash.

How does the leash help prevent twisting?

The TailyWags leash uses a U-shaped tape guide and a swivel clip to support movement from different angles. These parts work together in the 360° tangle-free design, helping the tape retract smoothly as your dog moves rather than becoming knotted or twisted. The 16ft nylon tape provides the leash’s reach, while the retractable mechanism lets you manage how much line is out during a walk.

The combination is intended for outings where a dog may change direction or stop to explore. It gives the dog room to move while keeping the leash connected and ready to retract.

• The tape is made from high-strength nylon.
• The clip swivels as the dog changes direction.

How do the brake and lock controls work?

Use the ergonomic, anti-slip button with your thumb to brake, pause, or lock the leash length with one hand. This gives you a way to manage the line while walking, including when navigating a busy sidewalk or letting your dog pause to sniff. The handle is made from non-slip ABS and is shaped to provide a secure grip during walks.

The controls bring the leash adjustment to the handle, so you can respond to a change in pace without operating a separate mechanism. Set the line with the button when you want to pause or hold its length, then release the control as needed to continue the walk.

• The handle and button use an anti-slip design.
• The button supports braking, pausing, and locking the leash length.

What is included, and what protects the leash mechanism?

The TailyWags leash includes a built-in waste bag dispenser and a starter roll of 15 bags. Its easy-access dispenser keeps bags within reach on an outing, so they can be taken directly from the leash instead of being kept separately in a pocket. The white body has an impact-resistant ABS shell designed to protect the internal mechanism from accidental drops and daily bumps.

The internal coil spring supports consistent, smooth retraction, while the rustproof swivel hook connects the leash to the dog’s collar or harness. Together, these construction details address the moving parts and connection point involved in regular use.

• One starter roll containing 15 waste bags is included.
• The leash has a heavy-duty internal coil spring and a rustproof swivel hook.

This leash is suited to people walking medium-sized dogs who want retractable reach, one-handed length control, and waste bags integrated into the leash. Its stated capacity is for dogs up to 66 lbs (30 kg), making that weight limit the key fit point when choosing it. It is designed for walks, jogs, and hikes where adjustable leash length and a built-in bag dispenser are useful. For medium dogs within the stated weight limit, it combines a 16ft nylon tape, thumb-operated control, and an included 15-bag starter roll.
