Hand-feeding requires tools suited to the animal and the type of feed. This set is intended for feeding milk to young birds and for giving liquid food or medicine to sick birds. Its assortment of curved tubes covers several bird sizes, while the included spoons offer a separate feeding option for small and medium birds. The set is also applicable to parrots, pigeons, rodents, and other small pets.

What is included in the Talk-Satisfied feeding set?

The set contains one 20 mL syringe, six curved stainless steel gavage tubes, and two stainless steel metal feeding spoons. The syringe uses plastic and stainless steel, and its plunger can be removed. The assortment includes one tube each in 8G, 10G, 12G, 14G, 16G, and 18G.

The syringe is lightweight and has a simple structure. The syringe, removable plunger, tubes, and spoons are described as easy to clean; no special cleaning method is specified. The materials are stated to be high-temperature resistant, and the parts are intended to resist distortion and rust during long-term use.

• 1 × 20 mL syringe
• 6 × stainless steel gavage tubes in six gauges
• 2 × stainless steel feeding spoons

Which tube size is intended for my bird?

The six curved tubes have different lengths and head diameters, with suggested bird-size matches ranging from small birds to large parrots and hawks. Compare the listed approximate dimensions and intended bird examples when choosing a tube; the tube lengths are given as two sections.

• 18G: approximately 50 mm + 20 mm long; 3 mm head diameter; for waxbills and other small birds.
• 16G: approximately 55 mm + 25 mm long; 4.5 mm head diameter; for finches and canaries.
• 14G: approximately 65 mm + 30 mm long; 4.5 mm head diameter; for cockatiels, budgerigars, small parakeets, and small raptors.
• 12G: approximately 75 mm + 35 mm long; 4.5 mm head diameter; for African greys and most falcons.
• 10G: approximately 90 mm + 40 mm long; 5.5 mm head diameter; for small macaws and small cockatoos.
• 8G: approximately 105 mm + 50 mm long; 7 mm head diameter; for Harris hawks, large macaws, and large cockatoos.

Tube measurements are approximate, and manual measurement may have an error of 0–1 cm. Use the stated gauge, head diameter, and bird examples to select the intended size.

How does the syringe help with feeding?

The syringe’s scale helps you control the amount of milk, liquid food, or liquid medicine drawn for feeding. The set is made for feeding young birds and for administering liquid food or medicine to sick birds; the six curved tubes provide different sizes for the listed bird types.

The two metal spoons are suitable for small and medium parrots and birds. This gives the kit both a syringe-and-tube feeding setup and spoon-feeding utensils, without implying that every feeding method suits every animal.

• Use the scale to gauge the amount in the syringe.
• Choose among six tube sizes according to the listed dimensions and bird examples.
• Use the included spoons for small and medium parrots and birds.

This set is best suited to bird keepers who need a range of feeding tube sizes for young birds, or tools for giving liquid food or medicine to sick birds. Its six curved tubes, 20 mL syringe, and two feeding spoons provide several feeding options in one kit.
