For a fish or turtle aquarium, keeping water moving and filtering out waste are part of routine tank care. Tararium combines those functions in a submersible filter intended for tanks within its stated capacity range. Its integrated functions make it suited to aquarium setups where water circulation, filtration, and water movement are wanted in one unit.

What tank size does the Tararium filter fit?

The Tararium internal aquarium filter is made for tanks from 15 to 40 gallons. Its pump moves 160 gallons per hour, which corresponds to four circulations per hour in a 40-gallon tank. Compare your aquarium’s capacity with this range when choosing the filter.

• Tank capacity range: 15–40 gallons.
• Pump flow rate: 160 GPH.
• At 40 gallons, the stated circulation rate is four times per hour.

How does the Tararium filter help maintain aquarium water?

The filter uses a black biochemical sponge to help reduce odor and yellowing, and to break down excrement and uneaten feed. The sponge is washable and reusable: rinse it regularly as part of filter care. The unit also combines water pumping, filtration, an aquarium air-pump function, and water-wave making.

• The filtration sponge can be rinsed and reused.
• Regular rinsing is part of the stated maintenance routine.
• Its combined functions include creating water movement in the aquarium.

Does the Tararium aquarium filter need tools to install?

No additional tools are needed to install the filter, and it is designed to be easy to clean. The submersible unit brings its pump and filtration functions together, so setup does not call for separate tools. Regular sponge rinsing supports ongoing cleaning.

• Installation requires no additional tools.
• The product is designed for straightforward cleaning.
• A 180-day warranty is included.

Tararium’s internal aquarium filter suits aquarium keepers with a 15–40 gallon fish or turtle tank who want filtration and water movement in a single submersible unit. Its stated tank range, 160 GPH pump, and reusable biochemical sponge make it a practical fit for routine aquarium water care.
