TetraPond Koi Growth is a high-protein pond fish food for growing koi and ornamental goldfish, with essential amino acids and small, soft floating sticks.

• High-protein formula with essential amino acids — made to support growth in young koi and ornamental goldfish.
• Small, soft floating sticks — designed for easy eating and digestion by growing fish.
• For pond water above 50°F (10°C) — suited to feeding in late spring and early summer.
• Highly digestible food — produces less waste to help keep pond water clear.
• 4.85 lb (2.2 kg) package — provides pond fish food in a larger-format quantity.

Young pond fish need a diet suited to growth, while soft, smaller food pieces can make feeding easier for fish without teeth. TetraPond Koi Growth is made for koi and ornamental goldfish during warmer-water periods, with feeding guidance that accounts for seasonal temperature changes and portion control.

What is TetraPond Koi Growth designed to do?

Its high-protein formula and essential amino acids are intended to help young koi and ornamental goldfish grow. The scientifically formulated diet also supports the fish’s immune system. Tetra has developed fish-food knowledge since 1951, and its broader nutrition approach aims to support fish energy, vitality, disease resistance, and a longer, healthier life.

• Made for young koi and ornamental goldfish.
• Contains essential amino acids.
• Formulated to support the immune system.

What form do the sticks take, and how do they work?

The food comes as small, soft, floating sticks that soften quickly in pond water. Their size and texture are designed to make them easy for growing fish and toothless pond fish to eat and digest. High digestibility means less food waste, which helps promote clear water.

• Floating format for pond feeding.
• Softens quickly in water.
• Designed for easy digestion and reduced waste.

When and how much should I feed my fish?

Feed TetraPond Koi Growth when pond water is above 50°F (10°C), typically in late spring and early summer. Feed at least two to three times daily, offering only what the fish can eat within five minutes. Below 50°F (10°C), use a spring-and-fall pond diet; do not feed pond fish below 39°F (4°C).

• Feed two to three times a day or more.
• Limit each feeding to what fish consume in five minutes.
• Follow the temperature guidance for seasonal feeding.

This food suits pond keepers raising young koi or ornamental goldfish who want a soft, digestible growth diet for warmer water. It is intended for feeding above 50°F (10°C), rather than for cold-water periods when pond fish should follow the seasonal temperature guidance.
