Cats are obligate carnivores with a natural instinct to hunt after dark and a nutritional need for meat. This recipe is made for cat owners seeking a meat-forward food with a soft consistency, including when a cat is drawn to lickable textures. Its design echoes cats’ natural prey diets through its blend of meat and organ ingredients, served as a silky mousse with broth.

Is this mousse a fit for cats that prefer soft food?

Yes. Tiki Cat After Dark Velvet Mousse has a smooth, lickable consistency made with picky eaters in mind. Chicken organs are included to enhance palatability, while the mousse format gives the recipe its soft, velvety character. It is a meat-focused option for cats who enjoy a texture that can be licked rather than chewed in larger pieces.

• Silky mousse texture designed for licking.
• Organ meat is included to enhance palatability.

What meat and organ ingredients are in the recipe?

The recipe combines real chicken and duck with chicken liver, gizzard and heart. These ingredients provide its high-protein, meat-centered profile, while savory broth brings moisture into the mousse. The blend is designed to offer the meat and organ components that reflect a cat’s carnivorous nutritional needs.

• Chicken and duck are the featured meats.
• Chicken liver, gizzard and heart are included.

How does the broth contribute to this cat food?

The formula includes high-moisture broth to help supplement cats’ naturally low thirst drive. This makes moisture part of the food itself, alongside the meat and organs, rather than relying on a dry texture alone. The recipe also uses 100% non-GMO ingredients and contains no grains or potatoes.

• Savory broth is blended into the mousse.
• The recipe is grain free and potato free.

Tiki Cat After Dark Velvet Mousse is suited to cat owners looking for a meat-and-organ recipe in a soft, lickable format, particularly for cats who are selective about texture. It brings chicken, duck, organ ingredients and moist broth together in a smooth mousse.
