TOPKNOT Dog Tie Out Cable and Stake, 6.1 m Swivel Run for Dogs up to 90.7 kg

TOPKNOT Dog Tie Out Cable and Stake is an outdoor dog run for yard or camping use, with a 20 ft (6.1 m) cable and clips rated for dogs up to 200 lb (90.7 kg).

• 5 mm stainless steel cable — gives dogs room to move within the cable’s reach.
• 360° rotating stake ring — lets the cable turn as a dog moves to help reduce tangling.
• Six 10-inch (25.4 cm) anchors — secure the rotating base in rock or hard ground using a hammer.
• Stainless steel clips with double-crimped ends and screw locks — help secure the cable connections.
• Detachable cable design — lets you remove the metal buckle and use the cable as a dog lead.

For outdoor time in a yard or at a campsite, a tie-out needs to anchor securely while allowing a dog to move without the line continually twisting. TOPKNOT combines a rotating stake base with a long cable, giving dogs an outdoor run on stable ground. The setup is intended for small through extra-large dogs, with its weight rating and ground conditions important to choosing and installing it correctly.

What comes with the TOPKNOT dog tie-out?

The set includes one stake, one 20 ft (6.1 m) dog run, and six 10-inch (25.4 cm) anchor screws. The cable is made from 5 mm stainless steel wire, and its stainless steel clips have double-crimped ends. Screw-lock carabiners close around the connection to reduce the chance of a dog escaping through an open clip.

• One tie-out stake and one cable.
• Six anchor screws for fixing the rotating base.

How does the swivel work, and what ground is it for?

The stake’s rotating base ring turns through 360° as the dog moves, helping the cable stay tangle-free. Install the base by hammering its six anchors into rock or hard ground; the stake has been tested on stable ground. The stake body is space aluminum alloy, and its rotating mechanism is 304 stainless steel, materials selected for outdoor use and rust resistance.

• The rotating ring connects to a tie-out cable or belt.
• Installation requires a hammer.
• The anchor system is designed for stable ground.

What dogs and outdoor uses does this tie-out suit?

The cable clips and stake are intended for dogs up to 200 lb (90.7 kg), including small through extra-large dogs. TOPKNOT also says the setup can hold multiple pets at the same time; there is no stated pet count. The 360° rotating connection is designed to help pets move without the cable tangling around them.

• Suitable for outdoor use in a yard or while camping.
• The cable can be detached from the stake setup and used as a lead.
