Toptakeit Soft Cat Cone Collar for Surgery Recovery, Adjustable EPE Design

Toptakeit is a soft EPE cat cone collar designed to discourage licking or biting during recovery, with an adjustable neck strap and folding edges.

• Soft EPE material cushions bumps and compression — a gentler-feeling alternative to rigid plastic cones.
• Designed to deter licking and biting — helps protect injured areas and surgical sites.
• Adjustable strap — lets you customize the fit around your cat’s neck.
• Folding edges — are designed to keep your cat’s vision less obstructed than with traditional cones.
• Lightweight, breathable construction — supports comfortable wear during daily activities.

After surgery or an injury, a cat may try to lick or bite the affected area. Toptakeit’s soft Elizabethan collar creates a protective barrier for short-term post-operative use, including supporting wound healing and suture retention. It is also designed for longer-term use when anxious biting or licking is a concern. The soft form is intended to be less cumbersome than a rigid plastic collar while your cat wears it at home.

What is the Toptakeit cat cone designed to protect?

The collar is made to discourage your cat from reaching injured areas or surgical sites with its mouth. Its protective role can be useful during post-operative recovery, when keeping a cat from disturbing sutures matters, and for longer-term use to deter anxious licking or biting.

• For cats and kittens needing a protective collar.
• Designed for both short-term recovery and longer-term wear.

How do you adjust the collar for a cat?

Use the adjustable strap to customize the fit around your cat’s neck, then secure it with a knot so the collar stays snug. Before choosing a fit, measure your cat’s neck girth and make sure the head length is less than the collar’s depth. The collar is intended for small and large cats as well as kittens, but the measurement check helps you assess whether its shape suits your individual cat.

• Adjust the strap to your cat’s neck size.
• Tie a knot after adjusting.
• Compare head length with collar depth before use.

What makes this collar softer to wear than a rigid cone?

Toptakeit uses EPE rather than traditional rigid plastic. The material is breathable and lightweight, and it has a cushioned effect when compressed or bumped. Folding edges are designed to avoid obstructing vision like traditional collars can, while the form is intended to let cats continue eating and sleeping normally.

• Soft EPE construction.
• Folding edges for a less obstructed field of view.
• Designed for daily wear, including eating and sleeping.

Toptakeit’s adjustable soft cone is suited to cat owners seeking a recovery barrier for a kitten or cat, or a way to discourage ongoing anxious licking or biting. It combines an adjustable strap with breathable EPE and folding edges in a collar designed to protect without the rigid-plastic construction of a traditional cone.
