For horse owners choosing a sheet for turnout, this design brings together a waterproof outer layer and several coverage and fastening features. The Hunter Green sheet is available in a 72-inch size; use that measurement when comparing it with the sheet size your horse wears.

What does the Tough1 Turnout Sheet offer for turnout?

Its outer shell is made from 600-denier waterproof ripstop fabric. This construction combines a waterproof layer with ripstop fabric, making the sheet suited to turnout when an outer covering is needed. It is a turnout sheet, not a claim of added insulation or a particular temperature rating.

• Hunter Green colour.
• Waterproof outer shell.
• Ripstop fabric construction.

How does the sheet allow movement and cover the horse?

Large shoulder gussets are built in to allow the horse freedom of movement. A tail flap provides coverage at the tail, while fleece wither protection places a fleece section over the withers. These features address different areas of the sheet’s coverage rather than relying on the outer shell alone.

• Gusseted shoulder area for freedom of movement.
• Tail flap for tail-area coverage.
• Fleece wither protection.

How does the Tough1 sheet fasten?

The front closes with two buckles and includes a Quick Grip tab for extra security. Crossed surcingles fasten across the body, and their elastic ends provide stretch within that fastening arrangement. The elastic leg straps can be adjusted or replaced.

• Double-buckle front closure with Quick Grip tab.
• Crossed surcingles with elastic ends.
• Adjustable and replaceable elastic leg straps.

This sheet suits horse owners looking for a waterproof ripstop turnout covering with shoulder gussets, a tail flap and multiple fastening features. Compare the 72-inch size with the sheet size your horse wears; the Tough1 design combines an outer shell with movement, coverage and adjustment features.
