TUG Original Retractable Dog Leash, 16 ft Large, White/Orange with 360-Degree Tape and Thumb Lock

The TUG Original is a retractable dog leash for walks, with a 16 ft (4.9 m) tape and a Large size for dogs under 110 lbs (50 kg), in White/Orange.

• 360-degree tape movement — helps the tape move without tangling.
• Thumb-operated quick lock and unlock — lets you control the leash with a roll-on, roll-off motion.
• Ergonomic anti-slip handle — provides a grip designed for long walks.
• Heavy-duty internal coil — supports consistent tape retraction.

This leash is made for walks where a dog needs room to move while staying connected to the handler. Its retractable tape, thumb control and handle design bring the main walking functions together in one leash; the Large size is intended for dogs within its stated weight range.

How does the TUG leash manage tape movement?

The 16 ft tape extends and retracts, while its 360-degree movement is designed to keep the tape from tangling as it moves. Easy-adjust retraction gives the handler control over how the tape rolls in or out during a walk. The internal coil supports consistent retraction.

• The tape leash extends to 16 ft.
• Retraction is adjustable.

How do the lock and handle work?

A quick lock-and-unlock feature is operated with the thumb using a roll-on, roll-off motion. The handle has an ergonomic anti-slip design, with a comfortable grip intended for longer walks. These features put tape control and the grip in the handler’s hand during use.

• Use the thumb to operate the lock and unlock.
• The handle combines an ergonomic shape with an anti-slip grip.

Which dogs is the Large leash for, and what should I know before choosing it?

The Large TUG leash is suitable for dogs under 110 lbs (50 kg). TUG’s size guidance gives the Small leash for dogs under 35 lbs (16 kg) and the Medium leash for dogs under 55 lbs (25 kg); choose by your dog’s weight. Retractable leashes are not suitable for chewing, so this leash is intended for walking use rather than chewing.
