For walks where a dog moves between walking close and exploring nearby, a retractable leash offers adjustable distance while keeping the dog attached. The Quest pairs an extending tape with a swivel system and hand-operated controls, bringing movement and leash management together in one design. Its stated dog-size guidance is useful when choosing a leash for an everyday walking routine.

How does the TUG Quest help prevent leash tangles?

The leash uses a patented swivel system that allows 360° movement and is designed to prevent tangles as the tape extends and retracts. This full-circle movement supports a dog changing direction during a walk, without the leash being limited to a single direction of travel. The tape extends up to 16 ft, giving a dog a defined range to explore while remaining attached.

• Swivel movement supports changes in direction.
• Retractable tape adjusts the distance between dog and handler.

How do the brake, pause and lock controls work?

The TUG Quest has a one-handed control system for braking, pausing or locking the leash. The controls are designed for quick, intuitive operation, so the handler can manage the tape using one hand while walking. This combines three leash-management actions in the same control system.

• Brake to manage tape movement.
• Pause or lock when a fixed leash length is needed.

Which dogs is this leash designed for?

This large-size Quest leash is designed for medium and small dogs, with a stated maximum dog weight of 110 lb. Use that weight limit as the key fit point when choosing it for a dog. The leash is made for everyday use with active pets and owners.

• Size: L.
