TUG Retractable Dog Leash, 4.9 m Large White with 360° Tape Movement

The TUG Original Retractable Dog Leash is a 16 ft (4.9 m) tape leash for walking large dogs weighing under 110 lb (49.9 kg), with thumb-operated locking and unlocking.

• 16 ft retractable tape — gives your dog leash length for walks.
• Large size for dogs under 110 lb — helps match the leash to your dog’s weight.
• 360-degree tape movement — helps keep the tape from tangling as it moves.
• Thumb-operated quick lock and unlock — lets you roll the leash on or off with your thumb.
• Ergonomic, anti-slip handle — provides a shaped grip for long walks.

For walks that call for a retractable leash, the TUG Original combines a tape lead with a handle designed for a secure-feeling hold. Its features focus on leash movement, simple thumb operation and choosing the size that suits your dog. The Large model is white and intended for dogs below its stated weight limit.

What is the TUG Original leash designed for?

The TUG Original is made for walking dogs with a retractable tape leash. Its 360-degree tape movement is designed to help prevent tangling while the tape moves, and the leash extends to 16 ft. This gives you a retractable option for everyday walks where that length and style of lead suit your needs.

• The leash uses tape rather than a cord.
• The tape moves through a full 360 degrees.

How do the lock and handle work?

Use your thumb to operate the quick lock and unlock feature. The leash rolls on and off with a thumb movement, while the ergonomic handle has an anti-slip design for a comfortable grip on longer walks.

• Quick lock and unlock operation.
• Handle shape and anti-slip design are intended to support a comfortable hold.

How do I choose the right TUG leash size?

This is the Large TUG Original, intended for dogs weighing under 110 lb (49.9 kg). TUG’s other size guidance is Small for dogs under 35 lb (15.9 kg) and Medium for dogs under 55 lb (24.9 kg). Retractable leashes are not suitable for chewing, so this leash is for walking use rather than chewing.

• Large: dogs under 110 lb.
• Medium: dogs under 55 lb; Small: dogs under 35 lb.
• The Large leash may be bigger than expected, so consider its dimensions when choosing.
