TUG Retractable Dog Leash, 16 ft, Small Blue with 360° Tangle-Free Tape

TUG Original is a small retractable dog leash for walks, with a 16 ft (4.9 m) tape and a compact fit for dogs under 35 lb (16 kg).

• 16 ft tape leash — gives your dog room to move while staying attached to the handle.
• 360-degree tangle-free tape movement — lets the tape move freely as your dog changes direction.
• Quick lock and unlock operated with your thumb — puts leash control at your hand.
• Ergonomic, anti-slip handle — designed for a comfortable hold on longer walks.
• Heavy-duty internal coil — supports consistent tape retraction.

For everyday dog walks, a retractable leash combines a handheld grip with tape that extends and retracts as you move. TUG Original brings its length, tape movement and thumb-operated control together in one small-size leash. The blue leash is made for dog owners who want a retractable option with controls at the handle and a clear weight limit for choosing the size.

Which dogs is the Small leash designed for?

The TUG Original Small leash is suitable for dogs weighing under 35 lb (16 kg). Use that weight limit as the key fit guide when choosing this size. Retractable leashes are not suitable for chewing, so this leash is intended for walks rather than as a chew item.

• Size: Small.
• Colour: Blue.

How do the tape and thumb controls work?

The TUG Original uses a retractable tape with tangle-free movement through 360 degrees. Its quick lock-and-unlock feature is operated with your thumb, allowing the tape to roll on and off at the handle. Easy-adjust retraction is built into the leash, so tape movement and locking are handled from the grip during a walk.

• Tape leash design.
• Thumb-operated quick lock and unlock.
• Easy-adjust retraction.

What makes the handle comfortable to hold?

The TUG Original has an ergonomic anti-slip handle, designed to provide a comfortable grip during longer walks. Inside the leash, a heavy-duty coil supports consistent retraction. These features pair the hand-held control with the retracting tape in a single leash.

• Ergonomic handle shape.
• Anti-slip grip.
• Internal retraction coil.

The TUG Original Small is suited to dog owners looking for a blue retractable tape leash for dogs under 35 lb, with thumb-operated controls and a handle designed for longer walks. Its fit guidance, tape movement and retraction mechanism make its intended use clear: walking a dog, not providing something to chew.
