For dogs that pull on walks, chew through collars, or break chains, this Cuban link P-chain combines a leash attachment with a tightening action. It is made for walking and training, with sizing options intended for small, medium, and large dogs. The fit depends on both your dog’s neck and the widest part of its head, so measure both before choosing a length.

How does the P-chain work for walking and training?

The collar tightens around the dog’s neck when leash tension is applied, helping interrupt pulling and stop forward walking. Its chain links are solid rather than hollow, and the collar is designed for dogs that chew through or pull on other chains. It has a polished, smooth surface and a Cuban link appearance suited to dogs of any sex.

• Designed as a walking and training collar.
• Chew-proof construction for dogs that frequently chew collars.
• Suitable for breeds including Rottweiler, Pitbull, American Bully, German Shepherd, Husky, Newfoundland, and Belgian Malinois.

How do I choose the right collar length?

Choose a length that fits around your dog’s neck and can also pass over its head, because this is a P-chain. Measure around both areas with a string, then allow about 1–2 in (2.54–5.08 cm) beyond the measurement. The collar is 10 mm (0.4 in) wide and comes in lengths from 10 in (25.4 cm) to 24 in (61 cm).

For example, if your dog’s head measures 17.5 in (44.45 cm) at its widest point and its neck measures 14 in (35.56 cm), the suggested choices are 18 in (45.72 cm) or 20 in (50.8 cm). Use your dog’s measurements rather than breed alone to select a size.

• Measure the widest part of the head as well as the neck.
• Confirm that the selected length can go over the head.
• Size choices span 10 in to 24 in.
