vancasso Ceramic Slow Feeder Dog Bowl, 0.6-Cup Maze Dish for Small Pets

vancasso Slow Feeder Dog Bowl is a ceramic puzzle dish for cats and small dogs, designed to slow fast eating with raised maze ridges and hold 0.6 cups (about 142 mL) of dry food.

• Raised ridges and a maze pattern are designed to slow eating by up to 15x — turning mealtime into a food-searching challenge.
• Lead-free, cadmium-free ceramic with a food-grade glazed finish — made for everyday pet feeding.
• At 1.2 lb (544 g), it weighs four times as much as typical plastic bowls — with a non-slip base to help keep it in place.
• Microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe — supports meal warming and straightforward cleanup.
• A non-porous glazed surface resists bacterial buildup — useful for pets prone to chin acne or skin irritation.

Fast eating can make it harder for a small pet to take a measured pace at mealtime. This bowl adds raised ridges between bites, so a pet must work around the maze pattern rather than eat from an open, flat dish. It is made for daily portions of dry kibble, wet food, or raw diets, and the ceramic construction also suits serving water. The compact capacity makes it a practical fit for cats and small dogs that eat small servings.

What size and portions does the vancasso bowl hold?

The bowl measures 6.25 inches (15.9 cm) in diameter and holds 0.6 cups (about 142 mL) of dry food or 12 oz (355 mL) of water. That capacity is intended for small pets and modest meal portions; it is not a large-breed or large-serving dish. Small dogs such as Boston Terriers, Bichon Frises, Shih Tzus, and Pugs are among the breeds it is made to suit, as are cats.

• Use it for dry kibble, wet food, raw food, or water.
• Its stated capacity gives small-pet owners a concrete portion reference.

How does the vancasso slow feeder help pace meals?

Raised ridges arranged in a maze make pets navigate around the pattern to reach their food, with the design intended to slow eating by up to 15x. A slower, more mindful pace may support digestion and portion control, while helping reduce gulping-related concerns such as choking, vomiting, and bloating. The puzzle-like layout also gives pets an engaging task during meals and is designed to discourage overeating habits.

• The ridges separate food into areas a pet must work around.
• The design is for smaller pets and the portions that fit its compact bowl.

What is the bowl made of, and how do you clean it?

The vancasso bowl is made of lead-free and cadmium-free ceramic with a smooth, food-grade glazed finish. Its non-porous surface resists bacterial buildup, which can contribute to chin acne and skin irritation. Ceramic is also the material veterinarians recommend over plastic for pet bowls. The bowl is microwave-safe for warming meals and dishwasher-safe for cleaning; it can also be rinsed under the tap.

• The seamless glaze helps food residue rinse away instead of sticking to the surface.
• Use the microwave for meal warming, or place the bowl in the dishwasher.

Will the vancasso bowl stay in place while a pet eats?

Its 1.2 lb (544 g) ceramic body is four times heavier than typical plastic bowls, and a low center of gravity works with the non-slip base to help keep the dish steady. This heavier construction also avoids plastic flakes from a scratched plastic dish getting into food. It is suited to pets that tend to nudge their bowls during enthusiastic eating.

• The non-slip base supports a more stable feeding spot.
• The bowl can serve dry, wet, or raw meals without changing the feeding setup.

The vancasso Slow Feeder Dog Bowl is best suited to cat owners and owners of small dogs who want a compact ceramic dish that makes pets work around their food. Its portion capacity and small-pet fit make it a better match for modest meals than large-breed servings. For small-pet mealtimes, it combines a maze-style eating surface with lead-free, cadmium-free ceramic that is microwave- and dishwasher-safe.
