vancasso Slow Feeder Dog Bowl, 0.6 Cup Dark Purple Ceramic Puzzle Dish

The vancasso 0.6 Cup Slow Feeder Dog Bowl is a dark purple puzzle dish for small-breed dogs, with a maze-style interior designed to slow fast eating.

• Interactive ridges and obstacles — turn food into a foraging-style mealtime activity.
• Lead-free and cadmium-free ceramic with a food-safe glaze — provides a smooth surface for serving dog food.
• Non-slip adhesive pads — help keep the bowl from sliding during enthusiastic meals.
• Dishwasher-safe design — makes routine bowl cleaning more convenient.
• Three capacity options — choose a portion size rather than selecting by dog size.

Fast meals can leave a dog gulping food instead of taking time to eat. This bowl is made to add a food-finding challenge to mealtime, offering a practical option for small-breed dogs that eat quickly and benefit from extra engagement. Its dark purple finish brings a distinct color to the feeding area.

How does the vancasso slow feeder work?

The bowl’s maze-like layout makes dogs work around ridges and obstacles to reach their food, encouraging a slower pace than eating from an open dish. More measured eating is the intended result; the design is also intended to support digestion and may help reduce risks associated with gulping, such as choking or vomiting. It does not guarantee a particular health outcome.

The raised pathways also make the meal an interactive activity. Engaging natural foraging behavior gives dogs mental exercise during feeding and may help address mealtime boredom; the brand also identifies enrichment as a way to help alleviate anxiety and destructive behaviors.

• Food is reached by navigating the bowl’s ridged, obstacle-filled surface.
• The added challenge is built into the dish, so the meal itself provides the activity.

Is the 0.6 Cup bowl the right portion size?

This version holds 0.6 cup (about 142 mL) and is intended for a smaller meal portion. The range also comes in 1.5-cup and 3-cup capacities, so choose according to the amount of food served at a meal rather than relying on your dog’s breed or overall size.

That distinction matters for fit: the capacity refers to food portion, not a breed-size guarantee. If your dog’s meal is larger than the 0.6-cup option, compare the meal amount with the other stated capacities before choosing.

• Available capacities: 0.6 cup, 1.5 cups, and 3 cups.
• This product page is for the 0.6-cup version.

What is the bowl made from, and how do you clean it?

The dish is made from ceramic that is lead-free and cadmium-free, with a smooth, food-safe glaze. Its seamless glazed surface is designed to keep food from sticking, and the bowl is dishwasher safe for cleaning after meals.

The glazed ceramic surface offers an alternative to plastic for dogs that chew their bowls or have sensitive skin. The product information identifies potential concerns with plastic, including chewing that can break it into pieces and skin irritation; the ceramic bowl is presented as a smooth, hygienic feeding surface for these pets.

• Material: ceramic with a smooth, food-safe glaze.
• Care: dishwasher safe.

Will the bowl stay in place while my dog eats?

The ceramic construction gives the bowl a weighted base with a low center of gravity, helping make it difficult to tip or push around. Adhesive non-slip pads attach to the bottom to further reduce sliding and spills, including during energetic meals.

This stability-focused design is intended for enthusiastic eaters and powerful chewers. Attach the included pads to the bowl’s underside to use the added grip.

• Weighted construction helps resist tipping and movement.
• Adhesive pads are included for the bowl’s base.

The vancasso slow feeder is suited to small-breed dogs whose meal portions fit the 0.6-cup capacity, especially fast eaters who can use added mealtime engagement. Choose by portion amount, and enjoy a ceramic, dishwasher-safe dish with a maze interior and a base designed to resist movement.
