Indoor cats need an appropriate place to work their claws and stretch, along with a spot to climb up and settle down. This Veehoo tree combines scratching surfaces, a step, and an elevated cushioned perch in one structure. Its layout is suited to everyday scratching and resting, and placing it beside a window gives a cat a raised place to look outside.

Where can my cat scratch and stretch?

The main scratching area is a tall column wrapped in natural sisal rope, with additional sisal on the middle platform. The column’s 5.12" × 4.92" × 30.31" dimensions give cats a vertical surface for full-body stretching, while the platform mat and side sisal panel add more clawing areas. The sisal surfaces are designed to satisfy scratching instincts and help protect furniture.

• Natural sisal rope covers the main column.
• The middle platform has a sisal mat and a side sisal panel.
• Multiple scratching areas are built into the tree.

Can the top perch accommodate a larger cat?

Yes, the top perch has a 16.6" × 15.8" plush cushion and the tree supports cats weighing up to 40 lb (18.1 kg). The double-layer base is 0.98" thick and is designed to stay firmly in place during use. The cushion provides a soft place to lounge or nap after climbing and scratching.

• The top cushion is removable.
• The stated maximum supported cat weight is 40 lb (18.1 kg).
• The base has two reinforced layers.

How does the stepped design help cats climb?

The middle platform acts as a step, resting perch, or play area between the floor and the top bed. It gives kittens and senior cats an intermediate point to use while climbing, and it adds a separate place to pause or play. At 36" tall, the tree can also sit beside a window so cats can watch outside from the raised perch.

• The platform serves as a climbing step and resting spot.
• The overall height is 36" (91.4 cm).
• Window-side placement creates a raised viewing place.

How do I assemble and clean the cat tree?

Assembly uses the included step-by-step instructions and requires no extra tools. The plush cushion can be removed and machine-washed, making it possible to clean the resting surface separately from the tree. The design brings the scratching post, climbing step, and cushioned perch together as one indoor cat tree.

• Step-by-step assembly instructions are included.
• No additional tools are needed for setup.
• The removable plush cushion is machine-washable.

This Veehoo tree suits indoor cats that benefit from a dedicated scratching surface, a route to climb, and an elevated cushioned place to rest; its weight limit is up to 40 lb (18.1 kg). It brings sisal scratching areas, a stepped platform, and a large top cushion together in a 36-inch structure.
