Setting up a desktop turtle habitat means balancing water access, a dry basking area and routine tank maintenance in a compact footprint. VERABE brings these functions together in one enclosure, with a layout intended for hatchlings and adult micro species. Its design also makes regular water changes more straightforward, while the included pump supports the customizable filter base.

How does the tank help with water changes?

The split-level design lets you lift the top tier to drain and refill the tank without picking up or handling your turtle. This approach is made for routine maintenance with less disturbance to the animal. The submersible pump runs with a gentle, low hum typical of desktop aquariums.

• Lift the upper tier to access the lower water area for draining and refilling.
• Use the dedicated base compartments to arrange filter media; the media itself is not included.

What habitat areas and accessories are included?

The kit includes the tank, mesh lid, removable basking platform and pump. The platform provides a basking area and can be removed to create a DIY planting or incubation zone, while the tank layout includes areas for climbing, swimming, feeding and waste collection.

• The mesh lid allows airflow while helping keep turtles contained.
• The platform can be repositioned or removed to change the habitat layout.

Which turtles is this 3-gallon habitat designed for?

VERABE designed this habitat for turtle hatchlings and adult micro species such as Musk, Mud and Razorback turtles; it is not suitable for large adult turtles. Its compact format is intended for placement on a sturdy desk, stand or countertop, so choose it for a small turtle rather than a large adult.

• White acrylic construction provides a clear view of underwater and basking activity.
• Tall sides and a mesh cover provide containment without tricky locks.

This kit suits keepers setting up a desktop habitat for a hatchling or an adult micro turtle who want a basking area, water zone and pump in one setup. The removable platform also gives keepers a way to adapt the layout for a DIY planting or incubation zone. VERABE’s 3 gal habitat is intended for small turtles and is not designed for large adult turtles.
