A small pet’s resting place needs to fit the available floor space while providing a comfortable surface for naps. VERZEY’s dark gray pad is made for extra-small dogs and cats, including pets that use a wire crate, kennel or cage. Its faux-fur surface is designed to offer a soft place to settle, whether used in a designated sleeping area or another spot that needs a pet cushion.

Will this pad fit my small dog or crate?

The pad measures approximately 22 × 13 inches, so compare those dimensions with the usable floor area of the crate, kennel or cage. It is intended for pets weighing up to 12 pounds, with Maltese, Pomeranians and Yorkshire Terriers among the examples given. The compact size also makes it an option for cats.

• Measure the resting area before choosing a placement.
• Made for extra-small pets rather than larger dogs.

What is the sleeping surface like?

The pad has a super-soft faux-fur surface for a comfortable resting spot. The soft material is also intended to help ease anxiety and protect joints while pets rest; these are intended benefits, not guaranteed results. An anti-slip underside helps limit movement when a pet steps onto or off the mat.

• Dark gray color.
• Can serve as a dog pillow or cushion as well as a crate pad.

How do I clean and prepare the mat?

Wash the pad by machine on a moderate setting, then dry it in a dryer on low heat or in the sun. It is designed to retain its shape through repeated washing. When it arrives from sealed packaging, shake and pat the mat to help restore its fluffiness; washing and drying before first use can make it more comfortable.

• Use moderate machine-wash settings.
• Choose low dryer heat or air-dry in the sun.

This pad suits people looking for a small pet’s soft resting place that can move between a crate, kennel, cage or other indoor or outdoor spot. Its faux-fur surface, anti-slip bottom and washable construction make it a practical choice for extra-small dogs and cats weighing up to 12 pounds. It is sized for compact resting areas, not larger pets.
