Virbraroo Rear-Leg Dog Wheelchair, Size M for 15.9–22 kg, Adjustable Lightweight Aluminium Frame

Virbraroo is a rear-leg dog wheelchair designed to support mobility for dogs with working front legs, with an adjustable aluminum frame and 7.9-inch all-terrain wheels.

• Size M fits dogs weighing 35–48.5 lb (15.9–22 kg) — a clear weight range for choosing the right size.
• 7.9-inch wheels with durable bearings — support smooth, quiet movement indoors and across grass or pavement.
• Adjustable length, width and height — lets the frame adapt to your dog’s body shape.
• Soft harness fabric and a reinforced abdominal strap — helps limit rubbing and redistribute weight away from the spine and hips.
• Aircraft-grade aluminum frame — provides a lightweight support structure for everyday mobility and recovery.

When a dog has limited use of its back legs, it can be difficult to move around comfortably while the front legs remain able to walk. This rear-leg cart is made for dogs with back-leg mobility challenges related to arthritis, paralysis, injury, hip dysplasia, surgical recovery or congenital abnormalities. It is intended for dogs whose front legs can support their weight and move them forward.

How can I tell if this rear-leg wheelchair suits my dog?

The Virbraroo rear-leg dog wheelchair suits a dog that can bear weight on its front legs and walk forward when the hips are supported. Try the towel test: lift your dog’s hips with a towel and observe whether the front legs can support the body and move forward.

If the front legs wobble or cannot provide enough push, the dog needs a four-wheel chair rather than this rear-leg design. The wheelchair is intended for back-leg disabilities with normal front-leg function. For severe injuries, consult a veterinarian immediately.

• Designed for rear-leg support, not for dogs with impaired front-leg function.
• The towel test helps assess whether the front legs can manage movement.

What adjusts, and how does the support work?

The Virbraroo wheelchair adjusts in length, width and height to accommodate your dog’s body shape. Its reinforced abdominal strap redistributes weight to reduce pressure on the spine and hips, while the soft, skin-friendly harness fabric is designed to reduce rubbing during extended wear.

A front harness attaches to the frame for quick setup. The support design is intended for dogs with conditions including degenerative myelopathy (DM), intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) or paralysis, as well as dogs recovering from surgery or managing age-related mobility changes.

• Adjustable frame dimensions help tailor the fit.
• The abdominal strap supports weight distribution around the body.
• The front harness connects the dog to the wheelchair frame.

Where can my dog use the wheelchair?

The Virbraroo rear-leg dog wheelchair has 7.9-inch (20.1-cm) all-terrain wheels with high-quality bearings for movement on grass, pavement and indoor floors. The wheel and bearing setup is designed for smooth, quiet performance across these surfaces.

The aircraft-grade aluminum frame combines a lightweight build with durable support for dogs using a cart during recovery or as age-related mobility needs arise. The adjustable frame and padded contact points are designed to help accommodate the dog while the wheels provide rear support.

• Wheel size: 7.9 inches (20.1 cm).
• Suitable surfaces include grass, pavement and indoor floors.

This wheelchair is best suited to medium dogs in the stated weight range who have back-leg mobility limitations but can still support themselves and walk forward with their front legs. Its adjustable aluminum frame, rear-leg support and all-terrain wheels make it a practical mobility aid for those specific needs.
