Vitakraft Sunseed Vita Prima Safflower Formula Parrot Food for Medium and Large Parrots

Vitakraft Sunseed Vita Prima Safflower Formula is a daily food blend for medium and large parrots, made with safflower instead of sunflower seeds and enriched with added vitamins and minerals.

• Made for medium and large parrots — pieces suit the beak size and eating style of birds such as African Greys, Amazons, and Eclectus parrots.
• Safflower-based with no sunflower seeds — offers a different seed mix for parrots needing selective seed choices.
• Dried carrots, peppers, and fruit pieces — bring color, aroma, and variety to mealtime.
• Added vitamins and minerals — contribute to the formula’s everyday nutrition.
• Suitable as a primary diet or part of a rotating feeding plan — fits more than one daily feeding routine.

Parrots can be selective about seed mixes, and mealtime can benefit from a range of textures and flavors. This blend is designed for medium and large species, with seeds, grains, and plant ingredients chosen to create variety in the food bowl. Its safflower-forward recipe provides an alternative to sunflower-based mixes, while dried produce adds another element to the blend. Use it as a primary diet or as one part of a rotation, according to the feeding routine you follow for your bird.

What ingredients give this parrot food its variety?

• Dried vegetable ingredients include carrots and peppers.
• Fruit pieces add another component to the assortment.
