That flexibility can also help households feed cats with different preferences.

What is this pork cat food made for?

Vital Essentials Pork Mini Patties are made to provide raw nutrition for cats, obligate carnivores whose natural diet is animal-based. The recipe uses pork as its single animal protein and combines it with organs and bone; it is also limited-ingredient and grain-free. It is intended for cats whose people want a complete meal or a way to introduce raw food alongside an existing routine. The freeze-drying process is used to help retain the food’s aroma and flavor, which can make mealtime more appealing to cats that are selective or bored with their usual food.

• Made for finicky cats and senior cats as well as other adult cats.
• Contains no fillers, artificial flavors or artificial colors.
• Raw nutrition is designed to support skin and coat, digestion, leaner condition and overall vitality, even when it makes up 20% of a cat’s bowl.

How can I adjust the patties for my cat?

Vital Essentials Pork Mini Patties can be served whole, broken into pieces, crumbled or rehydrated with water. The pre-formed portions give you a defined piece to serve, while breaking or crumbling lets you tailor the size and texture. Adding water creates a softer, moisture-rich consistency similar to gravy or pâté, for cats that prefer a less firm texture.

• Break apart a patty to make smaller pieces.
• Crumble the food to mix it through another food.
• Rehydrate with water to make a softer serving.

Can I serve it with my cat’s usual food?

Yes. Vital Essentials Pork Mini Patties can be fed as a complete and balanced meal or used as a topper or mixer with dry or wet cat food. To introduce raw food gradually, begin with a small amount and build from there. This approach lets you add a new food while maintaining familiar feeding habits, and the format is practical for multi-cat homes where preferences may vary.

• Use the patties as a meal, topper or mixer.
• Pair with wet food as part of a mixed-feeding routine.
• Vital Essentials offers the recipe in a variety of protein options for rotating meals.
