These whole-animal ingredients provide high-protein, limited-ingredient nutrition in a minimally processed freeze-dried format. The food is formulated to support the natural diet of obligate carnivores, and it is suitable for cats at every life stage.

• Turkey, organs, and bone make up 96% of the recipe.

• The 8 oz (227 g) bag contains crunchy mini nibs.

How can I serve this freeze-dried cat food?

Vital Essentials Turkey Mini Nibs can be served as a complete meal or added to another meal as a topper or mixer. For a gradual introduction, begin with a small amount and build from there; you can mix the nibs with dry food or serve them alongside wet food. The bite-sized format also works in automatic feeders.

Some cat parents use a mixed-feeding approach to introduce raw food while keeping familiar feeding habits. The brand also notes that raw food can be introduced starting at 20% of a cat’s bowl. Use the mini nibs to add variety to the feeding routine without changing the turkey recipe itself.

• Serve as a meal, topper, or mixer.
• Pair with wet food or mix with dry food.
• Start with a small amount and increase gradually.

What makes the nibs a different texture for cats?

Freeze-drying preserves the meat aroma and flavor, while the light, crunchy nibs offer a more engaging texture than traditional dry cat food or kibble. The familiar meat scent may help entice picky eaters and encourage consistent eating. The format is designed to make raw food easier to add to everyday meals.

The food is made in the USA using U.S. and globally sourced ingredients, including animal proteins from suppliers the brand describes as trusted. Vital Essentials makes it in North America’s largest freeze-drying facility for pet food, with responsibly sourced ingredients and rigorous quality standards. The brand’s wider range includes other protein options for households seeking variety across recipes.

• Crunchy mini nibs provide a satisfying bite.
• Freeze-drying helps retain recognizable meat aroma and flavor.
• The food is minimally processed and made with animal ingredients.

This recipe is suited to cat parents who want a single-protein turkey food that can work as a meal or as a gradual addition to wet or dry feeding routines. Its 8 oz bag contains complete and balanced freeze-dried raw mini nibs made with turkey, organs, and bone.
