Waretary Extra-Large Cat Litter Mat, 47 x 36 in Grey, Waterproof Double-Layer Design

The Waretary Cat Litter Mat is an extra-large, double-layer mat designed to catch litter as cats leave the litter box, with a 47 x 36 in (119.38 x 91.44 cm) footprint and a waterproof bottom layer.

• 47 x 36 in (119.38 x 91.44 cm) size — covers a broad area beneath and around the litter box.
• Soft EVA construction — provides a surface designed to be gentle on cats’ paws.
• Double-layer, EZ Open design with one connected side — collects tracked litter between the layers for removal.
• 10 mm honeycomb openings — let clumping, crystal, and pellet litter fall through the top layer.
• Waterproof bottom layer — helps keep liquid from soaking through to the floor.
• Washable design that air-dries quickly — makes routine cleanup straightforward.

Litter clinging to paws can spread across the floor around a litter box. This grey Waretary mat is made to sit beneath the box and catch stray litter as your cat steps away, helping keep the area easier to maintain. Its large format is suited to setups where a wider litter-catching surface is useful.

How does the mat collect litter?

The honeycomb top lets loose litter drop into the space between the two layers, where it stays until you empty the mat. The 10 mm holes allow litter from paws and from the litter box to pass through. It works with clumping, crystal, and pellet litter, so the top layer accommodates these common litter forms.

• Place the mat beneath the litter box.
• Lift the top layer to access litter caught below.
• Return collected litter to the box for reuse, or dispose of it.

How do you empty and clean the mat?

One side of the EZ Open mat remains connected, while the other edges open to make the lower layer accessible. Lift the top, then remove the collected litter by tipping it out or putting it back into the litter box. For washing, rinse the mat under a sink or shower head and leave it to air-dry.

• Washable under running water.
• Air-dry after rinsing.

Does the waterproof layer protect against urine?

The bottom layer is waterproof and is designed to prevent liquid from soaking through to the floor. With very messy cats or excessive urine, use puppy pads to absorb the extra liquid and check the mat often. The nylon mesh border around the perimeter may absorb urine if it becomes excessive, so avoid allowing urine to collect around that edge.

• Waterproof protection comes from the bottom layer.
• The outer nylon border can absorb excessive urine.

The Waretary Cat Litter Mat suits cat owners who want a broad surface for catching tracked litter and a removable layer that makes collected litter easier to handle. Its 47 x 36 in format, openable double-layer design, and washable construction make it a practical fit beneath a litter box; for cats that leave excessive urine, puppy pads and frequent checks help protect the floor.
