WePet XXL Cat Litter Mat, Cadet Grey Mosaic PVC Scatter-Trapping Pad

WePet Cat Litter Box Mat is an XXL PVC litter-trapping pad designed to reduce scattered litter, with a 47 × 35 × 1/3 inch (119.4 × 88.9 × 0.85 cm) footprint and a deep-groove, open-web surface.

• Traps 95% more litter — helps keep more litter from spreading around the box.
• XXL 47 × 35 inch size — covers a broad area beside or beneath the litter box.
• Phthalate- and BPA-free vinyl, independently tested as non-toxic — a material choice made for use around cats.
• Deep grooves, mesh and flexible coils — catch loose litter and brush it from paws.
• Water- and urine-resistant surface with non-slip backing — helps keep the mat in place and protect floors.

Litter carried out on a cat’s paws can leave a trail around the litter box and add to everyday sweeping. WePet’s mosaic mat is made to sit under or close to the box, where its surface can collect stray litter as cats step across it. Its Cadet Grey color and mosaic pattern suit both modern and traditional home décor.

How does the WePet mat help control scattered litter?

The WePet mat uses a deep-groove, open-web surface built with carpet-fiber technology to catch and conceal litter that leaves the box. Flexible coils brush litter from a cat’s paws, while the mesh construction makes trapped pieces easier to remove. The mat is designed to reduce the amount of litter that sticks to fur or reaches the surrounding floor.

• The open web gives loose litter space to collect within the mat.
• Its large surface area can mean less sweeping around the litter box.

What size and style is this WePet cat litter mat?

The WePet mat measures 47 inches long by 35 inches wide by 1/3 inch high and comes in XXL size, Cadet Grey, with a mosaic design. Place it beneath the litter box or close to its entrance so paws meet the mat as your cat exits. Its cushioned backing also helps protect wooden floors.

• The low-profile design is slimmer and lighter than the previous material formulation.
• Its neutral grey mosaic pattern is designed to blend with modern and traditional interiors.

What is the WePet mat made from, and what does it resist?

The WePet mat is made from vinyl (PVC) formulated to improve durability, water resistance and odor control. The material is phthalate-free and BPA-free, and independent testing found it non-toxic and gentle on sensitive paws. Its soft surface and cushioned backing are designed with paw comfort in mind.

• The mat is water- and urine-resistant.
• A non-slip backing helps hold it in position during use.
• The 2026 material update allows a slimmer, lighter design without compromising strength.

How do you use and clean the WePet litter mat?

Set the WePet mat under or beside the litter box, then vacuum or shake off excess litter when cleaning. For a wash, use warm water with soap or mild detergent and let the mat air dry. Clean and inspect it regularly to help avoid odor-causing bacteria building up.

• Keep mat washing away from the kitchen sink and food to avoid cross-contamination.
• To encourage a cat to use the mat, the care tips suggest rewarding it with a favorite dried fish.
• Preparing two mats means a clean mat can be available while the other is being cleaned or dried.

The WePet XXL mat suits cat households looking to catch litter near the box and simplify cleanup across a larger floor area. Its grooved mesh surface, paw-brushing coils and washable vinyl construction make it a practical fit for everyday litter scatter control.
