Cirque de la Mer is made for dogs who enjoy fish and for pet parents looking for a wet meal without chicken or beef. Its tuna-and-vegetable recipe keeps the focus on a small group of recognizable ingredients, with pumpkin gravy bringing them together. The 12-can pack provides a ready supply of the same recipe for adult-dog meals.

What is in Weruva Cirque de la Mer?

Each can combines chunks of whole-meat wild-caught tuna with sweet potatoes, green peas, and carrots in pumpkin soup-style gravy. The tuna is hand-flaked, and the ingredients retain a natural appearance and recognizable texture, so the components are visible in the food rather than hidden in a uniform blend. Weruva Classic recipes use limited ingredients and a carnivore-focused approach; this formula centers on fish instead of poultry or beef.

• Protein: 8% minimum; fat: 1.4% minimum.
• Fiber: 0.5% maximum; moisture: 85% maximum; ash: 1.5% maximum.

Can this recipe suit dogs with food sensitivities?

Cirque de la Mer is chicken-free and contains no beef, making it a fish-based choice for dogs with poultry or beef sensitivities. It is also free of grains, gluten, carrageenan, corn, wheat, and soy. These ingredient exclusions describe the recipe, but they do not guarantee a response for an individual dog with an allergy or sensitivity.

• The recipe’s featured animal ingredient is wild-caught tuna.
• No artificial colors or preservatives are used.

Is Weruva Cirque de la Mer suitable as an adult dog food?

Yes. The formula is made to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for adult maintenance. Weruva Classic is positioned as a high-protein, low-carbohydrate, carnivore-focused line, with this recipe delivering a moist, fish-and-vegetable meal in gravy.

• Intended life stage: adult maintenance.
• Wet-food format: tuna chunks and vegetables in pumpkin gravy.

How is Weruva Classic dog food made and packaged?

The cans are produced in human-food facilities under BRC Global Standards, and Weruva also says its products are made only in BRC/USDA-approved facilities. The company emphasizes responsible sourcing of raw materials. Weruva was founded by David and Stacie Forman and remains family-owned and operated; the brand name was formed from the names of their rescued cats, Webster, Rudi, and Vanessa. The founders expanded into dog food after welcoming their rescued dog, Baron.

• Pack contents: 12 cans, with 14 oz (397 g) in each can.
• Weruva Classic is the original line in the company’s family of pet-food brands.

This recipe is best suited to adult dogs who enjoy tuna and to households seeking a wet meal that excludes chicken and beef. Its adult-maintenance formulation, visible tuna and vegetables, and 12-can pack make the product’s intended use and contents clear.
