• 20-inch (50.8 cm) size — offers room for larger cats and litters.
• Foldable hideaway design — creates a private resting spot that can also be used as a padded mat.
• Designed for year-round comfort — wool helps keep cats warm in winter and cool in summer.
• Medium size suits indoor cats up to approximately 15 lb (6.8 kg) — a useful fit guide for average-sized cats.

Cats often look for a sheltered spot where they can settle away from activity. The Woolygon cave offers a felted wool hideaway for naps, play, and downtime, with a flexible design that can serve as a pod or a padded mat on hot days. Its zebra pattern adds a distinctive look to a cat’s resting space.

How much room does the Woolygon cat cave provide?

The extra-large cave measures 20 inches (50.8 cm), and the medium size is intended for average-sized indoor cats up to approximately 15 lb (6.8 kg). The 20-inch size is up to 3 inches (7.6 cm) larger than other cat caves, giving bigger cats or a litter more room. Because every cave is individually hand-felted, shape and size can vary slightly.

• Use the weight guide to assess whether the medium size suits your cat.
• The larger size is made to accommodate a larger cat or more than one kitten.

What is the Woolygon cat cave made from?

It is made from 100% natural merino wool, described as organic wool, without harsh chemicals or synthetic fibres. Nepali artisans hand-felt each cave in the Himalayan Valley of Kathmandu, using ethical and environmentally friendly working conditions and fair wages. The wool is naturally insulating, and its natural properties help cats stay cleaner and smell better.

• Handmade construction means each cave has its own slight variations.
• The lightweight wool design is easy to move around the home.
• The wool cave is made to hold its shape without collapsing and can be popped back into shape.

How can a cat use and clean this wool hideaway?

The cave gives cats a private place to hide, rest, or play, and it can also be used as a padded mat when the weather is hot. Merino wool helps regulate comfort across seasons, offering warmth in winter and a cooler resting place in summer. When cleaning is needed, wash it with soap and water.

• Use it as an enclosed pod or as a padded mat.
• Soap and water are the stated cleaning method.

This cave suits cat owners looking for a handmade wool retreat for an indoor cat, especially those who want a larger resting space, a foldable design, and a material that adapts to changing seasons. The medium size is guided for cats up to approximately 15 lb, while the 20-inch option offers extra room.
