How can these larvae support backyard hens?

The larvae provide calcium and protein as a treat for hens, with calcium content around 80–85 times that of dried mealworms. The calcium may help support stronger eggshells, while the product’s protein and other nutrients are intended to support animal health and immune function. During molting, it is also designed to help chickens and birds regrow feathers.
