A window perch gives cats an elevated place to rest while watching outdoor activity and enjoying a sunny spot. The Zakkart design suits homes with a usable window, sunroom, patio, French door or window sill, and its below-supported frame leaves room for cats to jump onto the seat.

How does the perch support a cat getting on and off?

Its triangular arms brace the seat from underneath, and the design is intended to stay put without wobbling as cats jump on or off from above or below. Unlike a perch held by top-mounted cables, this support arrangement leaves the entry area clear for jumping. The frame is made entirely from iron, with a stated maximum load of 40 lb (18.1 kg).

• Below-mounted triangular support arms.
• Unobstructed jump entry compared with top-mounted cable designs.

What comes with the window perch?

An included bed fits the perch and has a stuffed wall with a sherpa-covered pad. Its roomy shape is intended to let large cats stretch out, while the soft sides provide a more enclosed place to settle. The bed is machine washable, and Zakkart guarantees that it has no chemical smells.

• One bed designed for the Zakkart window perch.
• Stuffed wall and sherpa-covered pad.

How do you set it up, and where can it be used?

Assembly requires no tools: put the perch together and attach it to a window. It is made for cats who like a high vantage point for resting, sunbathing and looking outside. The product is also suited to use at a sunroom, patio, French door or window sill where it can be attached to a window.

• Tool-free assembly.
• Free replacement suction cups are available if replacements are needed.

This perch is suited to cat owners looking to make use of a window area for an elevated resting place, including for cats that like to stretch out and observe the outdoors. Its iron frame, below-supported arms and included washable bed bring the lounging spot and its support together in one window-mounted design.
