What ingredients make up ZIWI Peak Chicken?

ZIWI Peak Chicken features free-range chicken, organs, bone, and New Zealand Green Mussels in a PeakPrey recipe built around meat and organs in authentic ratios. The chicken is raised according to New Zealand animal welfare standards. ZIWI’s sourcing approach also includes grass-fed, grass-finished meats and wild-caught seafood from New Zealand farms and oceans.

The recipe includes ingredients selected for the food’s nutrient profile, alongside added vitamins and minerals. The sourcing standards exclude added hormones, antibiotics, and growth promotants.

• Cold-washed Green Tripe is part of the superfood blend.
• Organic Kelp is included in the formula.
• The blend is made to support digestion, joint health, and a healthy, shiny coat.

How can I serve this chicken dog food?

Serve ZIWI Peak Chicken as a complete balanced meal, a treat reward, or a food topper. Its multiple serving uses make it suitable for mealtimes, rewarding, or adding texture to a dog’s food. As a topper, it provides a supplemental addition to a meal rather than replacing the recipe’s complete-meal serving option.

The formula is grain-free and made without fillers commonly found in kibble. It is intended as a dry, raw alternative: air-drying raw ingredients creates a jerky-like texture while retaining flavor and nutrition. This gives guardians a way to serve a raw-style food without choosing a conventional grain-based kibble.

• Use it as a complete and balanced meal.
• Offer it as a reward or add it to food as a topper.

How is ZIWI Peak air-dried, and what is the texture?

ZIWI gently air-dries the raw ingredients to preserve their nutrition and flavor while creating a shelf-stable food. The finished pieces have a jerky-like texture with a crunchy bite. The recipe is moisture-rich, and the air-drying process provides shelf stability alongside the nutritional benefits associated with fresh food.

The texture is designed to be small enough for puppy food and soft enough for senior dogs. Its crunchy quality can also add texture when used as a topper. These details make the format useful across different life stages and serving occasions, without changing the chicken recipe’s meal, treat, and topper roles.

• Gentle air-drying is the food’s processing method.
• The recipe is high in protein and nutrient dense.

Is this recipe made for puppies and senior dogs?

Yes. ZIWI Peak Chicken is made for all life stages, and its texture is designed to suit both puppies and senior dogs. The pieces are small enough for puppy food and soft enough for senior dog food, making the recipe an option for dogs at either stage as well as adult dogs.

Because it can be served as a meal, treat, or topper, the same recipe can fit different feeding occasions. Choose the serving style that matches how you plan to use it; the recipe is designed for dogs rather than cats.

• Suitable for dogs from puppy to senior life stages.
• Chicken recipe in a 2.2 lb (1 kg) package.

ZIWI Peak Air-Dried Chicken suits guardians looking for a grain-free, meat-and-organ recipe that can serve as a complete meal or be offered as a treat or topper.
