ZONI PETS Happy Hoodie Calming Band for Dogs and Cats, 2-Pack Noise Relief

ZONI PETS Happy Hoodie is a two-pack of soft, double-ply calming bands for dogs and cats, designed to help reduce noise and ease stress during grooming and other potentially upsetting situations.

• Created by groomers for force-drying — helps reduce the impact of loud noise and high-pressure air.
• Gentle compression around covered ear canals — helps reduce noise when the band is fitted snugly.
• Four sizes for most dog breeds — gives buyers size options for a closer fit.
• Machine washable fabric — makes the band reusable and straightforward to clean.
• Designed in the USA — a grooming and calming aid offered since 2008.

Grooming tools, household sounds, car trips and veterinary visits can all be stressful for some pets. Happy Hoodie is made to provide a soft, swaddling feel during these situations, as well as during routine care such as brushing, bathing, nail clipping and clipper work. It can be used at home or in a grooming salon, and is intended for use during a stressful event rather than continuous wear.

How does Happy Hoodie help with noise and grooming stress?

Happy Hoodie helps reduce noise by gently compressing the area around the ear canals when the ears are covered and the band is snug. It was created as a grooming aid for dogs exposed to the sound and high-pressure airflow of force drying, and can also be used during other grooming tasks. The snug fit is intentional: the band is stretchy, and four fingers fitting underneath it is a guide that it is not too tight.

• For placement, fold the ears down over the ear canals so they are covered before securing the band.
• Use it during stressful moments such as toenail clipping, brushing, bathing or clipper work.
• Pets may appreciate it most when it is worn only during the situation causing stress.

What other situations can the calming band be used for?

Happy Hoodie can be used as a calming aid at home, in the car or during veterinary visits. It is also intended to help muffle loud sounds such as thunder, fireworks, vacuums and gunfire. The soft band can keep long ear and facial hair out of the way during eating or drinking, and can serve as an ear or neck warmer in cold weather.

• Wetting the band is an option for helping keep a pet cool in hot weather.
• It can be used to aerate ears and to help keep ear medication in place when a pet shakes its head.
• Other stated uses include ear protection during swimming or bath time and protection after ear surgery.

Can Happy Hoodie support ear care?

Veterinarians recommend Happy Hoodie as an aid for situations involving head shaking, ear hematomas and ear care. It may help prevent or support healing of hematomas, help control bleeding, and keep medication from being shaken out of the ears. Its ear-aeration use is intended to support recovery from an ear infection; it is an aid, not a substitute for veterinary care.

• The band may be used as an ear wrap when a pet is shaking its head.
• It can also be used as part of post-surgery ear protection.
• For ear problems or recovery, use it within the care plan provided by your veterinarian.

What comes in the pack, and how do you choose a size?

This set contains two Happy Hoodie bands made from soft, expandable, double-ply fabric. Four sizes are offered to accommodate most dog breeds; the Large size corresponds to Medium/Large. Use the Happy Hoodie size guide before choosing, since the right fit needs to sit snugly over the ears without exposing the ear canals.

• The band is machine washable and designed for repeated use.
• Happy Hoodie may be worn alongside anxiety vests, fireworks or separation-anxiety jackets, stress collars and calming scarves; it may also be used with oral calming remedies.
• Its swaddling-style fit is intended to soothe and comfort pets, and the product has been offered as a natural, homeopathic calming aid since 2008.

Happy Hoodie is suited to dog and cat owners and groomers looking for a washable band for noise-sensitive moments, grooming routines or selected ear-care situations. It is designed for short-term use around a stressful event, with the ears covered and the band fitted snugly.
