Zoo Snoods Bat Dog Costume is a large-size knit dog snood with hand-crocheted bat wings, designed to cover your dog’s ears and neck while adding a bat-inspired look for photos, parties and walks.

• Stretchy yarn with elastic woven into the neck opening — helps the snood fit snugly and stay in place.
• Slips on over your dog’s head with no straps, buttons or Velcro — a simple costume to put on.
• Ear and neck coverage — helps keep out cold, wind, rain and dirt.
• Bat wings are hand-crocheted — adds a distinctive costume detail.
• Hand or machine washable — supports straightforward cleaning after use.

For a costume that also has a practical role, this snood combines bat wings with coverage around the ears and neck. It is made for dressed-up occasions as well as walks, and can help keep long ears back and away from the food bowl at mealtime.

Will the large size fit my dog?

The large size fits dogs weighing about 40–180 lb (18–82 kg), with a head circumference of 17–26 in (43.2–66 cm). Measure around the widest part of your dog’s head and compare the result with the size chart in the product photos; head measurement matters more than breed. The snood is about 10 in (25.4 cm) long.

• Suggested for Golden Retrievers, Labs, English Bulldogs, German Shepherds and Huskies.
• Also recommended for Great Danes, Boxers, Pit Bulls, Goldendoodles, Rottweilers, Saint Bernards and Mastiffs.

How does the bat snood stay on?

The snood pulls over your dog’s head, and elastic woven into the neck opening creates a snug, adjustable fit. The design was updated for 2026 with an improved fit, using soft, stretchy yarn to help it stay put during photos, parties and walks.

• No straps, buttons or Velcro to fasten.
• Hand-crocheted bat wings give the knit snood its costume detail.

Can it be used beyond costume occasions?

Yes. The snood covers the ears and neck to help keep out cold, wind, rain and dirt, and it can hold long ears back while your dog eats. Its costume styling also makes it suitable for photos and parties.

• Wash by hand or in a washing machine.
• Its bat-dog design makes it a gift option for dog lovers.

This large bat snood suits dog owners looking for a dress-up accessory with ear and neck coverage, especially those whose dogs fall within the stated head measurement range. Breed suggestions can help with initial sizing, but measuring the widest part of your dog’s head is the key fit check. It combines a slip-on knit design, hand-crocheted bat wings and practical coverage in one washable costume.
