• BPA-free, food-grade plastic — provides a lightweight whistle without a cork or ball.
• Compact size: 2.4 inches (6 cm) x 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) — easy to carry during field work.
• Made in the UK by ACME whistle specialists with over 150 years of experience — brings specialist whistle-making heritage.

When a dog is working at a distance, moving through heavy cover or responding to more than one handler, a consistent whistle tone can help keep cues familiar. The ACME Genuine Pro Trialler is made for those situations, as well as everyday work with dogs that are harder to train or have difficulty hearing.

Does the whistle keep the same tone when you blow harder?

Yes. The ACME Genuine Pro Trialler holds its frequency whether you blow softly for close work or blow harder to make a louder sound over distance. Changing your blowing strength changes the volume, not the whistle’s frequency, which can make signals less confusing for dogs and for multiple users.

• Medium pitch.
• The sound is within human hearing and is designed to be loud without being obnoxious.
• It can be heard over wind noise in open fields.

Which dogs and working conditions is it suited to?

The ACME Genuine Pro Trialler is an all-rounder for harder-to-train, disobedient and hard-of-hearing dogs, including work in heavy cover. It works well with Pointers, Setters, Retrievers, Labradors and most Terriers. Its ability to produce a louder sound when blown harder also suits work over greater distances.

• Blow softly for close work.
• Blow harder for a louder signal over distance.

What are the whistle’s materials and dimensions?

The ACME Genuine Pro Trialler is made from BPA-free plastic to food-grade standard. It is pealess, with no cork or ball inside. The whistle measures 2.4 inches (6 cm) x 0.6 inches (1.5 cm); its weight is given as 3.5 oz / 4 g. It is available in a choice of colors.

• Pealess construction: no cork or ball.
• Small format for carrying during training and field work.

This whistle suits handlers who want a consistent tone at both close range and over distance, particularly when working with the dog types and field conditions it is designed for. Its frequency stays the same as blowing strength changes, in a compact, UK-made whistle.
