For walks with a small dog, a harness offers a way to attach a leash without relying on pressure at the neck. This step-in vest style is made for pet owners looking for an adjustable harness with breathable mesh and secure fastening features. Its sizing is especially important: the listed size is S, and fit should be based on careful measurements rather than weight alone.

How does this harness help reduce neck strain?

Bark Appeal’s harness distributes pulling pressure across the chest to reduce strain on a dog’s or cat’s neck. That design makes it a neck-conscious option for walks when a pet pulls on the leash. It is vet recommended for a safe, secure and comfortable walk.

• Step-in vest design for putting the harness on.
• Chest distribution for pulling pressure.

What materials and fastening features does it have?

The harness is made from soft, breathable mesh and has an adjustable strap. A heavy-duty buckle clip fastens it, while sturdy D-rings provide leash attachment points. Together, these features make it possible to adjust the fit and connect a leash to the harness.

• Lime green color.
• Vest-style harness construction.

How should I choose the size?

Measure your pet carefully using the sizing and measuring guide before choosing this size S harness. Weight alone does not give an accurate fit, and sizing may have changed since an earlier purchase; a pet’s size may also have changed. Re-measuring is important even for returning customers.

• Intended for XS to small pets.
• Use measurements, not weight alone, to assess fit.

This harness suits owners of XS to small pets who want a step-in vest style, adjustable fit and a leash connection designed to distribute pulling pressure across the chest. Bark Appeal has operated as a family-owned business since 2010. Careful measuring helps match the size S harness to your pet before use.
