Bark Appeal Step-In Dog Harness, XL Skull Print Vest with Adjustable Anti-Choke Design

The Bark Appeal Skull Step-In Dog Harness is an adjustable walking harness for large to extra-large pets, with soft breathable mesh and a chest-distributing anti-choke design.

• Measure your pet before choosing a size — weight alone does not provide an accurate fit.
• Pulling pressure is distributed across the chest — designed to reduce strain on the neck.
• Soft, breathable mesh — forms the harness vest.
• Adjustable strap, heavy-duty buckle clip and D-rings — provide adjustable fastening and leash attachment points.
• XL size with a skull design — a step-in style harness for large to extra-large pets.

A harness needs to fit your pet correctly and keep leash pressure away from the neck. The Bark Appeal harness is made for walks with dogs and uses a vest-style design with chest pressure distribution. Because the sizing has been updated, measuring is important even if you have bought this harness before; your pet’s size may also have changed.

How does the harness help reduce neck strain?

The Bark Appeal Skull Step-In Dog Harness spreads pulling pressure across the chest rather than concentrating it on the neck. This anti-choke design is intended to reduce neck strain for dogs or cats during walks, and the harness is vet recommended. Its vest format places the harness around the pet’s body, while the strap can be adjusted for fit.

• The anti-choke design is the key distinction from a walking setup that puts pulling pressure on the neck.
• Its intended use is walking with a pet; it is not presented as a restraint for other activities.

How should I choose the right size?

Measure your pet using the sizing and measuring guide before selecting the Bark Appeal harness. Weight alone is not a reliable way to determine fit, and the sizing has changed, so past purchases are not a substitute for measuring again. The title identifies this option as XL for large to extra-large pets, but an accurate choice depends on your pet’s measurements.

• Measure again for every purchase, including when you have ordered Bark Appeal before.
• Allow for the possibility that your pet’s size has changed since your last measurement.

What are the harness made from, and how does it fasten?

The Bark Appeal harness combines soft, breathable mesh with an adjustable strap, a heavy-duty buckle clip and sturdy D-rings. The clip fastens the harness, and the D-rings provide attachment points for a leash. The step-in format and skull design are part of this XL vest harness.

• Bark Appeal has been family-owned and operated since 2010.
• The skull design gives this harness its distinctive printed look.

This harness suits owners of large to extra-large pets who want a step-in walking vest with chest-distributed pulling pressure and adjustable components. It is especially relevant for buyers prepared to measure carefully rather than choose by weight alone. The XL Bark Appeal harness combines a breathable mesh vest, an adjustable strap and a heavy-duty clip for walks.
