Baskerville ULTRA Dog Muzzle, Size 5 – Heat-Shapable TPR for Panting and Drinking

Baskerville ULTRA Dog Muzzle, Size 5, is a heat-shapable TPR dog muzzle designed to help manage dogs while allowing them to pant and drink.

• Patented humane design lets dogs pant and drink while wearing the muzzle.
• Warm-water heat shaping lets you adjust the shape for different nose profiles.
• TPR construction is designed to help prevent bites.
• Lockable neck strap clip, headstrap and collar attachment offer multiple points of security.
• Padded straps and no metal on the dog’s face support a more comfortable fit.

A muzzle can help make careful socialization, everyday handling and the management of reactive behaviour more manageable. The Ultra is designed for situations such as introducing a rescue dog to new experiences, walks and visits to the vet, while allowing panting and drinking during wear.

Can a dog pant and drink in the Baskerville ULTRA Dog Muzzle?

Yes. Its patented design allows a dog to pant and drink while wearing it. The muzzle is suitable for daily walks and longer periods of wear, including when a dog may become hot or stressed.

• Suitable for use during training and handling.
• Allows treats to be given as rewards when working with a reactive dog.

How does the Size 5 muzzle fit different nose shapes?

The muzzle can be shaped with warm water to better fit different dog nose profiles. Its mouth-guard-like form can be adjusted for a range of shapes, including shorter-nosed breeds such as Boxers.

The Ultra comes in six sizes, and this version is Size 5. Dog muzzles vary in shape, so some dogs may fall between sizes; use the sizing guide to help choose a suitable fit.

• Shape adjustment is done with warm water.
• Designed for small, medium and large dogs across the size range.

What helps keep the Baskerville ULTRA Dog Muzzle in place?

A lockable neck strap clip, headstrap and collar attachment provide options for securing the muzzle. During early acclimatisation, use the headstrap and collar loop to increase stability and limit movement if your dog tries to remove it.

For dogs that react around other dogs, people or unfamiliar situations such as a vet visit, the muzzle can be used as part of training with reward treats. Gradual acclimatisation helps dogs become more comfortable wearing it.

• Developed by Dr. Roger Mugford.
• Made from Thermo Plastic Rubber (TPR).
• Padded straps; no metalwork rests on the dog’s face.

The Baskerville ULTRA Dog Muzzle suits owners who need a muzzle for socialisation, handling, walks or training, including for shorter-nosed dogs when the fit is appropriate. Size 5 combines an adjustable shape with panting and drinking access and multiple attachment points.
