BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Alternative, Small Soft Recovery Collar

BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Alternative is a Small recovery collar designed to help keep dogs from licking or biting an injured area after surgery, with an inflatable donut shape that surrounds the neck.

• Inflatable donut shape — creates a soft barrier around your dog’s neck.
• Inner air bag — provides neck support while the collar is worn.
• Open sightline — lets your dog see without a traditional cone blocking their vision.
• Removable outer cover — unzip it for convenient cleaning.
• Adjustable fastening — hook-and-loop closure and inner straps help secure the collar.

Recovery can make ordinary activities harder when a rigid cone gets in the way. This soft collar is made for dogs wearing a recovery collar after surgery or while an injury or wound heals, while allowing them to eat, drink, sleep and play with their vision unobstructed.

How does the BENCMATE collar help during recovery?

The inflatable ring sits around the neck to help prevent a dog from reaching an injured area or surgical site to lick or bite it. Its soft outer material offers gentle contact, and the collar can also serve as a neck pillow. BENCMATE says the pillow-like design can help dogs fall asleep quickly and relieve wound pain.

• Designed for post-surgery and wound recovery use.
• Provides a soft alternative to a traditional Elizabethan collar.

What fabric options are available?

BENCMATE offers two outer-fabric options: plush, soft-touch fabric in solid colors, or stretchy, anti-stick, scratch-resistant fabric in colorful designs. Both options have a zipper opening so the outer cover can be removed for cleaning; the collar also has a zipper on one side for access to the inflatable interior.

• Choose between the solid-color plush option and the colorful fabric option.
• Deflate the collar for compact storage when it is not in use.

How do I fit and secure the Small recovery collar?

Measure your dog’s neck circumference before choosing a size; this product is the Small option. Thread your dog’s regular collar through the fixation straps inside the recovery collar to help keep it in place, then adjust the hook-and-loop closure for fit. Position the closure at the back of the neck to make it harder for your dog to bite.

• If the recovery collar is too large and slips off, loop your dog’s regular collar through it to help prevent it from falling off.
• The hook-and-loop fastening makes the collar easier to put on and take off.

This Small recovery collar suits dog owners looking for a soft neck barrier that does not block their dog’s sight during recovery. Measure neck circumference to help choose the fit, and use the inner straps to secure the collar with your dog’s regular collar. It is designed for recovery support rather than to cover the dog’s entire body.
