LH NTGR Soft Dog Recovery Cone for Small Dogs, Adjustable Fabric-Edged Collar

LH NTGR Soft Dog Cone is a fabric-edged recovery collar designed to help dogs and cats avoid licking or biting healing areas, with seven sizes and an adjustable Velcro fit.

• Soft cone with fabric edging — offers a softer-feeling barrier around your pet’s neck.
• Seven sizes for most breeds of dogs and cats — gives you options for different pet sizes.
• Adjustable Velcro closure — lets you change the tightness around the neck.
• Cone depth designed to limit access to healing areas — helps interrupt licking, biting and scratching.
• Can also act as a barrier to excessive licking or biting linked to anxiety or habit — useful beyond recovery from an injury.

When a pet is healing, licking or biting an affected area can aggravate it. This soft recovery cone creates a physical barrier to help reduce that contact, while its fabric edge and adjustable closure are designed with comfort and fit in mind. It can also be used as a barrier when excessive licking or biting is related to anxiety or habit.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure your pet’s neck and head length, then compare them with the size chart before choosing. The pet’s head must not be longer than the cone’s depth for the barrier to fit as intended. If your pet’s measurement is close to the maximum for a size, choose the next size up. The seven available sizes are intended to suit most dog and cat breeds, but measurements are the guide for selecting a fit.

• Check both neck size and head length before purchase.
• Allow for the cone depth to extend beyond the head length.
• Choose the next size up when a measurement is near a size limit.

What does the recovery cone help prevent?

LH NTGR Soft Dog Cone is designed to help stop pets from reaching a healing wound or injury to lick, bite or scratch it. By creating a barrier around the head and neck, it can help break the lick-bite and itch-scratch cycle and reduce the risk of a pet aggravating an affected area. It is also intended to provide a longer-term barrier for excessive licking or biting connected with anxiety or habit; it does not replace veterinary care for an injury.

• Made for use as a barrier around healing wounds or injuries.
• Its depth helps limit access to areas a pet might lick or bite.

How does the collar fit around the neck?

The Velcro closure adjusts the collar’s tightness to help you set it around your pet’s neck. The cone has a soft construction with a fabric edge, designed to feel more comfortable than a hard edge while maintaining its barrier shape. The soft design is intended to be less uncomfortable if a pet bumps its head while moving, without making the cone flimsy.

• Adjust the closure to suit your pet’s neck fit.
• Fabric edging finishes the cone around the neck.

This recovery collar is suited to dog and cat owners looking for a soft barrier to help limit access to a healing area or discourage repeated licking and biting. Choose by your pet’s neck measurement and head length, and make sure the head does not exceed the cone depth. Its seven-size range, fabric edge and adjustable closure make it a fit-focused option for pets needing a recovery barrier.
