BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative, Large Donut Recovery Collar

BENCMATE Large Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative is an air-filled recovery collar designed to help keep dogs from licking or biting injured areas, with an inflatable inner air bag and an adjustable hook-and-loop closure.

• Donut-shaped collar with an inflatable inner air bag — creates a soft barrier around the neck.
• Designed for post-surgery or wound recovery — helps protect injured areas from licking and biting.
• Does not block a dog’s vision — allows room for everyday activities such as eating, drinking, sleeping and playing.
• Two fabric options — choose plush fabric in solid colors or stretchy, scratch-resistant, anti-stick fabric in colorful designs.
• Inner fixation straps and a removable outer cover — attach the collar to a dog’s everyday collar and unzip the cover for removal.

After surgery or an injury, a dog may need a barrier to discourage licking or biting at the affected area. BENCMATE’s inflatable donut-style collar is made for that recovery use, with soft material around the neck rather than a traditional Elizabethan collar that can block a dog’s view. Its design leaves dogs able to move through familiar activities while wearing the collar.

How does the collar protect an injured area?

The inflated collar forms a cushioned barrier around the dog’s neck to help limit access to a surgical site or wound. It is designed to help protect against licking and biting while a dog recovers from surgery or an injury. The collar is intended as a protective aid, not as a guarantee of recovery.

• The inner air bag provides the collar’s inflatable structure.
• The soft outer material sits around the neck.

Can a dog see and move comfortably while wearing it?

Yes. The collar is designed to leave a dog’s vision unobstructed, unlike conventional E-collars that can block the view. Dogs can eat, drink, sleep and play while wearing it, and the collar can also serve as a neck pillow. The plush fabric option is soft-touch; the colorful option is stretchy and scratch-resistant.

• Solid-color option: plush fabric.
• Colorful option: anti-stick, scratch-resistant, stretchy fabric.

How do you fasten and adjust the collar?

Thread the dog’s everyday collar through the recovery collar’s inner fixation straps, then adjust the hook-and-loop closure for fit. Position the closure at the back of the dog’s neck to make it harder for the dog to bite. Measure your dog’s neck circumference before choosing a size. If the recovery collar is loose and slips, loop the everyday collar together with it to help hold it in place.

• Unzip the side opening to remove the outer cover.
• Deflate the collar for compact storage.

This Large recovery collar suits dog owners seeking an inflatable alternative to a vision-blocking cone after surgery or an injury. Its neck barrier, adjustable fastening and deflatable design combine wound-area protection with convenient storage.
