MIDOG Inflatable Dog Cone, Large+ Donut Recovery Collar for Dogs

MIDOG Inflatable Dog Cone is a Large+ donut-style recovery collar designed to help keep dogs from licking or biting wounds, stitches, and rashes while they heal.

• Soft, breathable fabric — offers a gentler-feeling alternative to a hard cone.
• Unobstructed vision — lets dogs see around them while eating, drinking, playing, and moving through the home.
• Inner loops for an everyday collar — help hold the recovery collar in place.
• Adjustable buckle — allows you to adjust the fit around your dog’s neck.
• Hair-repelling, wipe-clean fabric and quick deflation — support easier upkeep and compact storage at home or on trips.

After surgery or when a dog has a wound, stitches, or a rash, preventing licking and biting can be part of supporting recovery. This inflatable collar creates a gentle barrier around the neck without the rigid shape of a traditional cone. Its design is intended to help dogs keep up familiar activities as they heal, while the donut shape can also serve as a pillow when they rest.

How does the MIDOG recovery collar help during healing?

The collar forms a barrier that helps prevent a dog from reaching wounds, stitches, and rashes to lick or bite them. This gentle barrier is designed to support faster, undisturbed recovery. The soft, breathable fabric and donut shape provide a more comfortable-feeling option than a hard cone, including when a dog settles down to sleep.

• Made for recovery following surgery or for protecting affected areas.
• Can be used as a pillow while your dog rests.

Can a dog see, eat, and move around while wearing it?

The design leaves a dog’s vision unobstructed, unlike traditional E-collars that can block the view. Dogs can eat, drink, play, and navigate around the home while wearing it, so everyday movement can continue during recovery.

• Designed to keep the visual field clear.
• Allows familiar activities such as eating and drinking.

How does the collar stay on, and how do you care for it?

Thread your dog’s everyday collar through the inflatable collar’s inner loops, then use the buckle to adjust the fit. The loop-and-buckle arrangement helps secure the recovery collar in place. For upkeep, the non-stick fabric repels pet hair and can be wiped clean; the collar deflates in seconds for compact storage.

• Use the inner loops with your dog’s everyday collar.
• Adjust using the buckle.
• Wipe the fabric clean and deflate the collar for storage or travel.

MIDOG Inflatable Dog Cone suits dog owners looking for a soft, inflatable recovery barrier that allows vision and familiar activities during healing. The Large+ model is a donut-style collar for recovery, rather than a rigid cone.
