BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative, Large Pink, Soft Post-Surgery Recovery

BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative is a pink, Large-size recovery collar designed to help dogs avoid licking or biting injured areas and surgical sites.

• Inflatable donut shape — creates a soft barrier around your dog’s neck.
• Inner air bag with neck support — helps maintain an unobstructed field of vision.
• Interior fixation straps — let you thread your dog’s everyday collar through for added hold.
• Zippered outer cover — can be removed for cleaning.
• Deflates for storage — takes up less space when not in use.

After surgery or an injury, dogs may need a barrier that helps keep their mouths away from a healing area without the vision-blocking shape of a traditional Elizabethan collar. BENCMATE’s inflatable recovery collar is made for this purpose, with a soft outer surface and a donut-style form around the neck. It is designed to help protect wounds and surgical sites from licking and biting while allowing everyday activities.

How does the BENCMATE collar help protect a healing area?

The inflated collar forms a cushioned barrier around the neck to help prevent a dog from reaching an injured area or surgical site to lick or bite it. It is designed for use during recovery from surgery or wounds and to help protect against irritation, rashes, and further injury. The soft collar also doubles as a neck pillow, designed to help dogs fall asleep quickly and relieve wound pain.

• Made for post-surgery and wound recovery use.
• Soft outer material provides a gentle surface around the neck.

How should I choose the Large size and keep the collar in place?

Measure your dog’s neck circumference before choosing the Large size. Thread your dog’s regular collar through the recovery collar’s interior fixation straps to help secure it; if the recovery collar feels loose or slips off, loop the everyday collar together with it. Adjust the hook-and-loop closure for fit and position the closure at the back of the neck to help prevent your dog from biting it.

• The hook-and-loop fastening makes the collar adjustable and easier to put on or remove.
• Neck circumference is the measurement to take before selecting a size.

Can my dog see, eat, drink, and rest while wearing it?

Yes. The collar is designed to support the neck without blocking your dog’s vision, so dogs can eat, drink, sleep, and play while wearing it. This differs from a conventional E-collar that can obstruct a dog’s view. Its soft, pillow-like shape also provides a place for your dog to rest its head.

• Designed to avoid obstructing sight.
• Can serve as a neck pillow during rest.

What are the fabric and storage features?

BENCMATE offers a plush, soft-touch fabric option and a separate colorful option made with anti-stick, scratch-resistant, stretchy fabric. The pink color does not establish which fabric option applies. Unzip the cover to remove it for cleaning, then deflate the collar for compact storage.

• One side has a zipper opening for access to the cover.
• Deflating the collar helps it fit into a smaller storage space.

This collar suits dog owners looking for a soft, vision-unobstructed recovery barrier for use after surgery or during wound recovery. Measuring neck circumference first and securing the collar through the interior straps helps the Large-size BENCMATE collar stay positioned around the neck.
