BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative, Large+ Soft Recovery Collar

BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative in Large+ is an air-filled recovery collar designed to help prevent dogs from licking or biting surgical sites and wounds, with a soft donut shape that supports the neck without blocking vision.

• Inflatable donut barrier — helps keep a dog’s mouth away from an injured area or surgical site.
• Open sightlines — lets dogs see while eating, drinking, sleeping and playing.
• Two outer fabric options — choose plush soft-touch fabric in solid colors or stretchy, anti-stick, scratch-resistant fabric in colorful options.
• Adjustable attachment — interior straps secure the collar to a dog’s everyday collar, while a hook-and-loop closure adjusts the fit.
• Removable, deflatable design — unzip to remove the cover, then release the air for compact storage.

After an operation or an injury, dogs may need a barrier that discourages licking and chewing without the blocked view of a traditional Elizabethan collar. BENCMATE’s inflatable recovery collar is made for this protective role, with soft outer material around an inner air bag. Its shape provides neck support while leaving the dog’s sight unobstructed.

What is the BENCMATE collar designed to protect?

It is designed to help prevent a dog from biting or licking an injured area, rash or post-surgery wound. The inflated ring sits around the neck as a cushioned barrier, helping keep the dog’s mouth from reaching the protected area. The soft construction also provides gentle contact around the neck.

• Made for use as a dog cone alternative after surgery or injury.
• The cushioned shape also serves as a neck pillow, intended to help dogs settle to sleep and ease wound discomfort.

Can a dog see and manage everyday activities while wearing it?

The collar is designed to support the neck without obstructing a dog’s vision. Unlike a conventional E-collar that can block sight, its donut shape allows dogs to see as they eat, drink, sleep and play while wearing the protective barrier.

• Provides full neck support through an inner air bag.
• Offers a soft outer surface around the neck.

How does the collar fit and stay in place?

Measure your dog’s neck circumference before choosing the Large+ size. Thread the dog’s regular collar through the recovery collar’s interior fixation straps to help secure it; if the recovery collar feels too large or slips off, looping it together with the regular collar may help keep it in place.

• Adjust tightness with the hook-and-loop closure.
• Place the closure at the back of the dog’s neck to help prevent chewing at it.
• The closure is designed to make the collar easier to put on and remove.

Which fabric option and storage features does it have?

Choose between plush, soft-touch fabric in solid colors and stretchy, anti-stick, scratch-resistant fabric in colorful options. The collar also features scratch- and bite-resistant, non-stick fabric. Unzip the cover to remove it for cleaning; the air-filled collar can be deflated through its zipper opening for storage in a small space.

• Two fabric choices provide different outer fabric textures.
• Deflation reduces the space needed to store the collar.

BENCMATE Large+ is suited to dogs needing a soft, vision-friendly barrier around the neck during recovery from surgery or an injury. Measuring neck circumference and securing the collar through the interior straps help with fit, while its inflatable shape provides a protective barrier without blocking sight.
